We chose Viking based on cruise ratings and have sailed on over 30 ocean cruises. Our review benchmark used 2019 sailings on HAL and Regent. The Star passenger areas are in good shape for the ship's age. We have taken several Viking Cruises, both river and ocean. For this trip we booked one of the explorer suites, quite pricey and our best friends booked another of the explorer suites.
