Saw the Videos on Viking Ocean and River Cruises and got the feeling it were a well runorganization. Viking Ocean cruise which I went on with 3 other members of my familywas amaze how excellent everything was . We went 2 days earlier to Venice. Unable tobook the pre-tour with Viking we booked the 2 days ourselves and had a nice time. Upon boarding the Viking Sea we felt immediately at home and welcomed. The Viking Sea Ship was just beautiful the interior excellent. 908 passengers was the right amount . Never felt over crowded. The crew members that took care of us,went out of their way, very attentive, always smiling, friendly and helpful. Our cabins were clean and well taken care of and this were also the same through out the ship. Opportunities to have Hand washing available every where was to me a sign that Viking care . Dining were such a treat and has left me with very happy memories. Entertainment made many of the evenings a pleasant way to pass the time. The Ports and Shore excursions, to no fault of Viking, were at times not the best, the Tour buses were very nice, the show and tell needs more work, Guides on the hold werenice and friendly, the places selected many could be better. Some tours the Tour Buswere parked far from the site .I would go again in a heart beat! The other thing not asked and not under Viking's control , The Dutch Airlines was goodbut Air France ,did not clean or tidy up from the previous flight, Read Less

My wife and I, along with eight other relatives just completed a cruise of the Adriatic and Mediterranean Seas on the Viking Sky, April 3 through April 14, 2017. The Sky is a relatively small cruise ship carrying approximately 930 passengers and about 450 crew. So the ratio of passengers to crew is about 2 to 1. First of all, the service was outstanding. Everyone greeted you throughout the day. An empty glass was very rare. I cannot say enough good things about the officers and crew. Then there's the food. We usually ate breakfast and lunch at the World Cafe, the buffet. And we had dinner at The Restaurant. Because we had a group of ten and there are no reservations Florian arranged a large table each night if we arrived early. This worked out well. I went to the buffet one evening and found that they had sushi, crab claws among other seafood that I like. They would also grill a steak or make a custom pasta dish. We went to Manfredi's Italian restaurant twice. This is a specialty restaurant, but there is no extra charge. However, those passengers who pay higher prices for the cruise get first choice of reservations. The food was outstanding and there was a large amount of it. The spa include a large hot tub with a bench that was quite nice. There was also a snow grotto that we used after the hot tub. My wife liked the Norwegian bathing ritual, which involved a sauna, a cool pool, another sauna, and the snow grotto. We wished we had more sea days to take advantage of the things on the ship. The thing that we did not like was the those who paid more for their cabins, had first choice of the optional excursions. When it was finally our turn my wife awoke at 3:00 am to be first in line for a reservation. However, all but one had been completely sold out. She was quite upset. This forced us to find private tours which turned out to be outstanding and less costly. One of the port times was changed to an earlier departure which made us lose a bit of one of our private tours. Overall, it was an outstanding experience. But the cost may send us back to Princess and Royal Caribbean for sea cruises and Viking for river cruises. Read Less

We selected this cruise because it went where we wanted to go; was at a time of year we could get away; and was in our price range. We chose Viking because of their reputation and the fact that we had a great river cruise with them a few years ago. This ship, the Viking Star, is fantastic. Big enough, but not too big. I couldn't even tell I was on water. Very quiet and smooth. The amenities are top notch. Very pretty boat, very well laid out; very manageable and the staff is fantastic. The food in the restaurant was excellent with outstanding service. The ports of call were beautiful. The excursions were very good. I personally loved the fact that there was no casino and no kids on the boat. This is not a cruise line for young families. This is designed for retirees and empty-nesters getting away for a while. If there was a downside to this cruise at all I would say the nightly entertainment lacked a little, but not badly. I've just seen better entertainment on the bigger lines. That said, the Beatles review was really fun and well done. As well, the piano player, guitar player and string quartet that played quietly in the lounges throughout the evening were all fantastic and personable. I highly recommend this cruise. Read Less

We chose this for the itinerary and it was well worth it. Montenegro was a surprise - we really enjoyed it and all ports. The optional excursions were value priced and worth it ( we did at each port except one). There were so many GREAT things that I'll only point out some places that we were a bit disappointed. 1) Time in Croatia is short - a surprise since Dubrovnik is a major attraction. We chose the wrong excursion for that (ended up a drive up the coast - but we were stuck in traffic - and a stop at a seaside town that was nothing. We barely made it back to the ship for 1 hour in Dubrovnik before the ship sailed). So choose wisely. 2) Santorini we had a tour of the island and a snack with a local in their home. Although it was wonderful we were thinking we'd get inside one of the cliff houses - it wasn't so we didn't exactly get what we were hoping for. Again - our assumption was off. 3) The Chef's table Restaurant on the ship was a disappointment and many passengers gave their feedback on this. The menu we had was focused on West Indies spices - why? we're in the Mediterranean?? The general restaurants were great - - no need to even do the specialty ones. Even with these comments.....know that we were VERY VERY pleased with this cruise. The cabin was lovely including the deck. The nightly entertainment was fun -not Broadway but a good time. A high percentage of the passengers are Viking veterans - and all recommend the ships, service and itineraries. Read Less

What a great experience. In the past, after several days, I was ready to get back home, not this time. I wanted this to continue forever. The ship was so immaculate. The crew was so professional and friendly. They seemed to go out of there way to strike up conversation, whether it was to ask me how things were going, to knowing where I was from. They had two of my favorite areas to unwind after the excursions. The favorite was the Explorers lounge. Lots of windows, relaxing with a cocktail and occasionally listening to the piano. My second was the piano area on the first floor. Second choice, only because it was more crowded.. The music, whether it be the piano or violinist, always put you into a relaxing mood with your cocktail. The food was great and service was spectacular. When we got back a little late from an excursion, they always kept the dining area open to accommodate us. A great deal of attention was paid to our room by the staff. The room which was surprisingly large was always clean and neat. The excursions were very organized. We had one hiccup, where the wind was so strong, that excursions had to be delayed and moved. They somehow got everything organized so quickly, that were able to see everything, just a bit late. Very professional. I do wish that we could have spent more time in Florence. It deserved more time. The thing that stands out the most was the fact that the ship was smaller than most cruise ships. To me this removed the "Zoo Like" atmosphere that you feel on the other cruise ships. I believe that Viking has hit a home run with smaller cruise ships. Read Less

This cruise was a surprise anniversary gift to my husband and was chosen specifically because one of the ports was Sicily where his grandfather was from. He has also never been in any other parts of Italy so we purchased the pre-extension in Rome prior to boarding the Sky. Having Viking meet us at the airport, get us easily to our hotel, then have a rep there each day to help answer questions or make arrangements for us was wonderful. It made it so easy to do everything we wanted to do. Every aspect of embarkation and disembarkation were perfect. We have traveled on other cruises and this was so incredibly easy in comparison to the ones we had been on previously. There was zero stress, no long lines, everything was easy. We expected the cabin to be small but the way it was arranged there was plenty of room and even the bathroom and shower were great. We loved the staff who took care of our stateroom. They always remembered our names and seemed genuinely happy to see us during the cruise. It didn't matter which restaurant we went to the food was always fantastic. We had the opportunity to eat in both of the specialty restaurants as well as the buffet and main dining room and enjoyed them all. Although many people had issues with the communication devices used during the port tours I think it was due to them being new and the tour guides weren't used to them. The tours were wonderful with well informed tour guides who could answer any question anybody had about the area we were in. One of our favorite areas of the ship was the spa. We each had multiple massages, hair cuts, manicures, attended the yoga classes, and I was able to participate in the nordic bathing ritual which was truly overwhelming. My great grandfather was Swedish and it really made me feel a connection to my heritage. I look forward to going back and being able to participate in that again with my sons and their wives next year when we return. Mihaijlo, Jesper, Gabby, Emma Jade, and Phoebe all took such wonderful care of us we were truly sad to say goodbye at the end of the trip. We also loved the products used there and purchased many to bring home. The various lounges throughout the ship were great and we loved how the entertainment moved from area to area. It was so relaxing sitting with a drink listening to the music and just enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The decor of the ship was fabulous. We can't say enough about how comfortable every area of the ship was. Even with so many people on the ship you never felt crowded or had to wait for anything. The service was outstanding no matter where you went even in areas like the gift shop. My husband needed to purchase a hat but all that was left were red ones and he really prefers to wear blue. Camilla who was working in the gift shop went out of her way to go find an additional blue hat so he didn't have to purchase a red one. We also took advantage of booking our next Viking cruise while we were on the ship and will be returning in 2018 and go from Barcelona back to Rome with our sons and their wives, which will be great. We are also telling all of our friends and family they need to book a Viking cruise as well because it truly was the most enjoyable and relaxing vacation we have ever been on. To this day two weeks after we disembarked my husband has dreams every night about being back on the ship enjoying the wonderful atmosphere you all created for us. We truly appreciate making the celebration of our anniversary such a memorable and truly special event neither of us will ever forget. Read Less

The destinations and shore excursions available, along with a fair price for the cruise were the main reasons we chose Viking. We would not be able to visit those islands nor Tunisia if we traveled independently. The guides were great, the food spectacular, the whole staff was so good to us. How could we not enjoy ourselves? The bonus for us was the two spectacular lecturers, Peter Mawby and Kate Williams were both enriching and entertaining. Two criticisms: the listening device to take on shore excursions was awful. So much time was wasted fiddling with them because they were off more than they were on. For the tea drinkers, please have a hot water kettle in the room so we don't have to go up to the World Cafe or order room service. Thank you very much for the high tea each afternoon. That was wonderful, especially when coming back to the ship from sightseeing. No we didn't get to explore Civitavecchia because it started raining when we got there. Both embarkation and disembarkation were flawless. Viking making flight plans from and to Kansas City with our flight home from Paris was just perfect. Our cabin was just right for two people and Gi-Gi took good care of us, stopping to visit when we were in our hall. I sure do miss the omelet man. He remembered exactly what I wanted and gave me a big smile to start my day! Also, thank you for the gifts you sent to my sister and I before the trip. We used the adapter all across France after the cruise. The wi-fi worked great while we were on the ship. We had a real good time! Read Less

We were looking for a Viking cruise to celebrate my upcoming 60th birthday. This cruise hit several places where my daughter had worked as an archaeologist and so we picked it. From the minute we contacted Viking customer service, we were treated as pampered guests. Art Rivera was our cruise consultant and he made us feel like royalty. The ship itself was divine and I never felt so pampered in all my life. It seemed like before we even knew we needed or wanted something, it would appear. All the staff was helpful, cheerful, and accommodating. The entertainment was stellar & varied. There was no lack of things to do. If you wanted activity, you could have it. If you wanted peace, quiet, & solitude, you could have that too. My only suggestion would be to add another excursion option to each port. Having a recorded guide & map for more independent exploration of the port would be a nice change from buses. While the bus trips were well organized, entertaining, and enlightening, sometimes it's nice to spend more time on the ground in a port. From beginning to end, this was an amazing trip. Read Less

My husband picked this cruise because he had read about the new Viking ships and wanted to try one. Also he hadn't been to many of the ports of call before. We loved the ship and amenities aboard. We liked the fact it was a smaller ship, more casual, and we liked the eating arrangements. There wasn't a definite time you had to show up for dinner. they had 24/7 room service if you wanted it. The port talks were excellent, as well as all the employees who worked on board. They were friendly, fun, and very helpful. The food was excellent also in all areas on the ship. The entertainment was wonderful, very talented people. They had several pools and hot tubs which you could use and lots of places to relax read and watch the scenery go by. We really enjoyed the Retired Colonel who lectured several evenings about the 2nd WW Torch offensive in Northern Africa before we docked in certain Ports of call. The shore excursions were great, easy on and off the ship. I could go on and on, but will end by saying we would definitely do another cruise with Viking. Read Less

We enjoyed eating with whomever we chose, wherever we chose. Having the opportunity to sample the specialty restaurants without an additional fee was nice. Airport transfers and embarkation was well handeled. We were never waiting long. Having the ElConvento Hotel to wait on disembarkation day while waiting for our flight was great. My husband enjoyed relaxing at the hotel and I cruised around Puerto Rico. We enjoyed the Entertainment on board the ship. The singers and dancers were fun to watch and talented and energetic. We would have liked to have an opportunity to take some casual pictures with the entertainers. It would have been a nice memory of the Rat Pack in costume for instance. All around great trip. I have never been to the Caribbean, and after an exceptional Viking River cruise experience in Europe wanted to try the Viking Ocean Cruises. I was not disappointed. The high level of service was not intrusive. I was able to enjoy the 9 ports and experience the islands while being happily and expertly serviced by the entire staff, including housekeeping, tour guides, and yes, even the captain who was not hidden away but very visible and excited to be the master of this wonderfully designed ship. The excursion logistics made leaving and boarding the ship easy and very quick - you just left the ship and joined up with your small group within minutes. There was no tiring wait time. Free seating dining was one sitting from 6p to 9:30p and you had a choice of being alone or sharing with others. The two (no extra charge) specialty restaurants had excellent service. Food in all restaurants and poolside bars were tasty and expertly prepared. I have two more cruises booked on Viking within the next year - one to the Baltic and the other to Panama. Read Less

I chose the cruise because of the ports we visited. Unlike the previous cruise, we had perfect weather and could visit every port. Embarkation and disembarkation were the best I have ever experienced. Because the embarkation day was my 60th birthday, my daughter and I had dinner at the Chef's Table. A lovely experiences with good food and an attentive waiter. The birthday cake was delicious. Having a sea day following departure is great. It gave us time to explore the ship and relax. The Viking Sea is a beautiful vessel, well appointed, spacious and easily navigated. The food is very good to excellent. If you like unlimited King Crab legs and shrimp, visit the World Café. For great waffles and a cosy atmosphere, have breakfast at Mamsen's. The only dinner we had that was not impressive was at Manfredi's. Where all the other meals ranged between 7 to 10 (out of ten), Manfredi's would have been a 5. Service, like everywhere else, was good. Our cabin was 3068. It was comfortable and the stewards were friendly and helpful. We took some included shore excursions and some additional ones. The included excursions were good, except the one to Cagliari. We had to line up for the only toilet available in town, which meant a 25 minute delay to start our walk through the old town. This excursion is short to begin with. There were less than 20 minutes left to do some shopping. The excursion in Algiers to the Botanical Garden and the Basilica Notre Dame d'Afrique was great, but again a short stop at the souvenir shop in the garden would have pleased us and certainly have helped the vendor, who was watching us go by with a sad face. We had police escorts in Tunis and in Algiers and felt safe at all times. Malta was my favourite and I can highly recommend the excursion featuring a lecture by a Maltese Knight. My daughter loved Valencia, where we took the included excursion which was well organized and offered a free shuttle back to the ship, if one wanted to stay on after the tour was over. My daughter (26) and I enjoyed this cruise very much. We would recommend it without hesitation. Read Less

I just wanted the receipe for the French Toast!!!! The evening entertainment was a joy and we looked forward to it each evening. Our choice of shore excursions was perfect. We were able to see how native people lived out away from the city and all the service was exceptional. We are still talking about many of the events which we were able to witness. The 4-wheel drive tour was unbelievable, going high up the mountain and seeing where the native people once lived. I would highly recommend it. Timing, pricing, location, but mostly that we did not cruise for anytime prior to actually seeing our selected destinations. We met our ship at the "first port of call", so no wasted days at sea. Speaking to staff, we universally were told this was the best ship / company they had ever worked with. On ship information and education sessions were highlights as well. Several dining options, and we only missed trying The Chef's table! We would return to all of them without a single reservation. Because of our early arrival (about 6 am) ,previous cruise passengers were still on board, but staff made special arrangements to accommodate us on board, including access to breakfast. Very much appreciated! Disembarkation was also very well managed. Our only disappointment was that most islands were very much the same, but the cruise line can't be faulted for that. Most tours were excellent, and only a couple of them were disappointing. We are a senior couple, and very much in the majority on this cruise. Most disappointments we had arose from our lack of savvy around asking trained staff for guidance. I would definitely go again with Viking, but I would pick a new adventure elsewhere. Read Less

We chose Viking because we have cousins who reported very favorably on the River Cruises, but also because we wanted to go to Istanbul. So it was a big disappointment that we had to cross off both of the Turkish ports of call. But the stops along the Adriatic were little-known and excellent in their own way. We did feel a bit let down at the embarkation process in Venice, where we arrived in pouring rain and were told to wait for a bus that never arrived. We also discovered too late that it was actually harder than necessary to get from our hotel in Venice to the Maritime Terminal, and that we therefore had to pay a lot for a water taxi that we could have avoided if we'd stayed in a better located hotel. But those turned out to be minor troubles. The first thing that impressed us was the ship itself. We were astonished at the attention to detail and at the helpfulness of the staff. When baggage handlers broke the "foot" off my suitcase, the Viking Sea's carpenter picked it up at my stateroom and fixed it quickly and perfectly. We got great advice, too, from Guest Services on the ship. We had feared that in Athens we would get stuck with an expensive ride into Athens (where we were going to stay a couple of extra days), but both Jojo and Bruna were exceedingly helpful in advising us about how to get things done much more cheaply. The ship was also exceedingly quiet, with only the faintest throbbing from the engines rather than the louder and more dramatic pulsing that we were used to. In our stateroom we were instantly impressed by the style and attention to detail in every small item, from toothbrush holders to showers, from pillows to the wonderful bed. Our cabin steward was also great: efficient, friendly, unobtrusive, and very good at cleaning up even the smallest mess. The Nordic theme was evident throughout the ship from the Bayeux tapestry in the stairwells to the wonderful Mamsen's Cafe, which nearly brought me to tears of joy at the authentic Norwegian cuisine available for breakfast and lunch (I'm a Norwegian American). We did not avail ourselves of much of the official entertainment on the ship, but we loved the quiet corners scattered here and there, where one could choose a book from the carefully curated collection or read aloud to each other from a book that we'd brought with us. No crowds, no noise, just calm. The restaurants were also great. On our first night the food and service were great in Manfredi's, but the raucous guests made it hard for us to hear ourselves talking. When we mentioned this to the Maitre d'h of Manfredi's, he said, "Let me make it up to you," and he did. When we returned, we had a window table of perfect calm. That was our experience in the other restaurants, too. We should also praise the care we got from the marvelous Chef's Table -- a quiet table with amazing menus. We never felt rushed or crowded, and the food was fantastic. We went on many of the "included" tours (the ones that were free) because we had never been in these ports before, and so it did not seem to make sense to us to go off into the interior when we had not even seen the port city itself. We were impressed that hundreds of guests (tourists) could be sorted out so efficiently onto the waiting buses, all of us outfitted with the "Silent Vox" speaker system that allowed us to stray a little bit away from the guide and still hear what he or she was telling us. The local guides were terrific -- they were locals with good English and a truly excellent knowledge of the locale. Usually these tours were a good choice, but a couple of times we felt that so many other guests were more interested in photo ops and taking selfies that we felt we had chosen badly and would have been better served if we had gone off to a historically or archeologically more demanding destination, such as the archeological site at the south end of Santorini. We wished we had toured that. I would especially single out the tours of Koper, Zadar, Olympia, and Athens as excellent. The popular tourist traps of Dubrovnik and Santorini were less enjoyable for us just because there were so many thousands of others there, just like us. We had hoped that going in September would reduce the crush of tourists, but those two places are so small that crowds can easily become oppressive. Over all, we just loved our cruise, the ship, the food, the ports of call, and the attention to detail and our comfort. Read Less

The ports of call, for the most part were very interesting. The port talks helped to make each stop more enjoyable. We dined at nearly every restaurant and found the food quality and service to be superb. The fitness center and spa had very nice features including windows to view the outside while exercising. We also enjoyed the sport deck as well a deck four for covered walking outdoors. Furthermore, the open areas within the ship were well designed for social interactions. From the Wintergreen for high tea to the Explorer's Lounge Levels 1 & 2 were very inviting to mingle with other passengers or simply enjoy. Because our berth was on deck 7 we really enjoyed the short walk in the morning for a cup of coffee with pastry. We highly recommend Viking when planning an ocean or river cruise. Read Less

Viking timed their flight arrive to coincide with there boarding times. After clearing ship security could board right away. Since we were the last to board we went straight to the buffet for lunch.. By the time we arrived to the cabin luggage was already there. The should have kept the buffet open longer to accommodate later arriving passengers. This is the second year for this ship, so the ship is still is good condition. This is what is called a small ship about 950 passengers, and Viking understands service extremely well. The cabin had a mini bar which was checked every day. The ship had some communication issues with the in cabin entertainment, which was spotty for about two days then was resolved. Viking uses the open eating concept fro the dining room, so if you want to dine with another couple both couples should go to the dining room at the same time. If one is used to the fixed seating this is easy to adjust to once you know.. The food was good, diversified, ad filling but not gourmet, they had a separate by reservation dining room for gourmet dining. The ship also had an Italian dining option again by reservation and a buffet area. The ship had a small by reservation only entertainment area which I preferred to the sips theater entertainment. I felt the theater entertainment somewhat simplistic. Viking uses a class based concept to select sign up for shore excursions. This did not seem to affect availability of an excursion.. There was an issue with linking the actual excursion with the US based documentation for the tour. It was crucial to attend the port talk before arriving at the port to establish the differences between published and actual excursion. The shore excursion options were varied end entertaining. Most of the countries were new to us to just getting there was great. Viking has a pre and post cruise option we had some difficulties getting good information as to what we included in the post cruise so as not to duplicate with the excursions at the disembarkation city. This cruise had an attractive itinerary plus we had prior excellent experience with the Viking River Cruises. This was a very enjoyable trip and we strongly recommend it for others. The ship was in fantastic shape and was just the right size. Our cabin was excellent with a door to the outside of the starboard side with a table and chairs. Interior furnishing comparable to the best hotels. Servicing of our room was terrific with very friendly, helpful staff. Dining was superb. We preferred the buffet because of the wide variety but dining at the Italian restaurant was excellent as well. We enjoyed the entertainment and particularly the lecture series on the last of the Romanovs. The fact that we could view lectures that we didn't attend in person on the in-room TV was very much appreciated. We participated in all of the ports and shore excursions that were included and some of the extra ones as well. All had excellent guides. We met some wonderful people on board. We traveled with my brother and his wife and that added value. We would heartily recommend this trip. We only wish we had arrived at Stockholm a day earlier. Look forward to our next cruise. We chose this cruise with two other couples because the ports included, from Stockholm to Bergen, were of interest to all of us. We enjoyed all the ports, and wish we had had more time in Stockholm. A highlight of our trip was a two day personal tour of St. Petersburg. This was our first trip on the larger ship, the Viking Star, and we were very impressed by the ship and the personnel who worked on this ship. We thought that the talks that were given before arrival at each port were extremely helpful. We especially enjoyed the series on The Romanovs, given by a guest lecturer. We were able to try the specialty restaurants, at no extra cost. We loved the afternoon tea, and took advantage of that if we came back on the ship in the afternoon. We also liked the fact that the ship, although carrying approximately 900 people, never seemed crowded, and if you wanted a quiet spot to relax and read, you could always find one, usually with a view of the water and surroundings. We are going on a second European Viking River cruise in October 2017, and a Viking Caribbean cruise in February 2018 on the Viking Sky. We will be extending our stay in both port cities as part of the Viking experience. The only problem with being on one of the bigger ships is that you can be closed out of a tour or restaurant, depending on your cabin, because your date for selecting options is based on your cabin level. I don't believe that anyone should be told that an "included" tour is already full. Read Less

I chose this cruise because I had not seen any of the countries visited, except for Germany. Also, I took a Viking river cruise a couple years ago and knew the fine reputation of Viking. I was thrilled with this trip: it will be my trip of a lifetime. The Star is a beautiful and spacious ship with so many things to do, one can hardly get it all done in just two weeks. We loved the shows, the port talks, the history lectures (also shown on in-room TV), the tours given in each port, and of course the fabulous restaurants. We dined in the Italian restaurant two nights and the Chef's Table three nights, and neither should be missed. I had a serious medical problem during the trip, and the ship's doctor arranged that I go to a clinic in St Petersburg for a needed procedure. The doctor and nurses on the ship followed up, and I give high praise to Dr. Dees and the nurses. If you're reading this before you go, take out the travel insurance; I will be reimbursed for every cent I spent. Read Less

Viking has many things included for one price. We had a large family groupe (10) and Viking did well with that. The reason I say that is they are set up for couples and smaller groups. They have Wonderful service and Excellent food. The entertainment director Heather did an outstanding job. The entertainers were excellent and friendly. The excursions were very good, for being new in the sea cruise business Viking understands how to do this. Some rough spots but for the most part educational and enjoyable. Free Wifi, beer and wine includes with meals is awesome! Smaller ship was really intimate and much friendlier than the mega ship trend going on now. Unfortunately I think Viking Ocean Cruises has spoiled me to my old favorites Princess and Royal Caribbean. I believe that Viking will be seeing more of me, they are the best that I have cruised with. Thank you Viking Ocean Cruises for an enjoyable and memorable experience! Read Less

Wanted to see the Nordic countries and others on the Baltic and North Seas. Got more than expected out of our journey. The ship was awesome and we were so well taken care of both at sea and on land excursions. We enjoyed the number of options in each port and the information provided before we entered the port. Our guides were knowledgeable and helpful as well as courteous and friendly. The food options were outstanding and the wait staff very attentive without us asking for help. Our cabin provided plenty of room to move around and store everything we brought and bought. The crew was very friendly and helpful for anything we needed. We enjoyed the variety and talent at the shows and informative talks. The stability of the ship in fairly rough seas was amazing. We always felt safe, secure and well cared for. Would definitely like to cruise with Viking in the future. Viking is tops in our book. Read Less
