We have over 40 cruises under our belts, but this was our first Viking Ocean cruise. The ship and furnishings are beautiful with plentiful public spaces in which to spread out and relax - crowding was extremely rare or non-existent. This cruise was the epitome of a true vacation experience. No checks to settle, no supplies to buy, no arrangements to worry about. We very much enjoyed the Hawaiian Sojourn Cruise on Viking Star. Our PV2 Stateroom was lovely, clean, comfortable and spacious. There was plenty of closet space and drawers for all of our clothes. Our cruise on Viking was so-so at best. I will be avoiding that cruise line in the future. LAX as a major departure/arrival airport and San Pedro as the cruise port are EXTREMELY unsuitable and inconvenient.
