Despite the fact that is not a new ship LIF is very elegant, comfortable and stylish. We always like to spend more money for a balcony cabin and this time with a lot of sailing days and beautiful landscapes on the Danube, Main and Rhine having you only “viewing point” was amazing. Our cabin was spacious and elegant, and we love the heated bathroom floor, the amenities and all the storage available. Our stewardess Maya was not so chatty and friendly like our previous room attendants but she was very efficient, the room was sparkling clean every day and always on time. Read Less

We had a veranda cabin: nice, spacious with a beautiful balcony just to enjoy the amazing landscape on the Danube and Rhine. Viking is very proud about how many ship are sailing in the world but this big number brought a drop in the quality of passenger’s experience. What’s the point to spend a lot of money for a cabin when the only view was another ship? The cabin was always extremely clean and our room attendant Marina from Romania was amazing. Unfortunately, one day she was free and somebody else replaced her and the difference was more than visible. Read Less

Our cabin was quite adequate for 2, with plenty of closet and drawer space. The bathroom was also well-designed. The access to the balcony meant for lovely views of the river shore and countryside. What made the room a superior experience was the attention of the Room Steward, Elena to cleaning of the room and ensuring we had sufficient supplies. She was simply excellent. Read Less
