"Would have been lovely on a 75F day, and would have welcome if the tour description had included a 50 minute stop at who knows where on one of the hottest days of the year - this after an already long coach ride.Fortunately, the bus was able to navigate down to the winery (otherwise, they would have had to call in the coroner) for the long ride back to the ship, waiting outside of Strasbourg...."Read More

Love Viking - Cruise Director did a great job. The places we went to were very interesting and memorable. The dining experience was excellent every day.
Great organization in getting us to and from the ship. The coach that was not a Viking coach that we had was not in very good shape and the seats were very tight. The Viking coaches were much better.

We chose this cruise mainly because we wanted to visit Switzerland. The river boat part was fine--the typical scenery, vineyards, castles, and quaint towns. I was surprised and enjoyed learning about the history of some of the oldest German cities, founded by the Romans much earlier than I realized.
The Guttenberg Museum demonstration was fascinating.
