explorer suite was awesome! people who say dont upgrade your room because you never spend any time in it, have never stayed in an explorer suite! we had so much room and loved spending our time there. it gave us a place to retreat to in luxury. the bathroom was huge and the wrap around balcony was truly elegant. ours came with included business class airfare which made the entire trip even better. to have your own private living room on the river really is the best experience ever! word of warning! - they are in the back of the ship so engine noise may be a problem if docking early in morning. we were woken by the engines a few times during the trip but it apparently was short-lived because we just fell back asleep again without further incident. light sleepers may want to take this into consideration. We had booked cabin 203 which was ample for our needs. However, we were ‘upgraded’ at the last minute to some sort of suite. Although the extra amenities were very nice, the suite had very little closet space and therefore very few hangers. It had only 2 drawers compared to 6 in the original cabin. I would never accept another upgrade like this as it turned out to be very inconvenient. I feel they should ask before just upgrading. Read Less
