We booked a suite so we would have extra room to relax when we were in the cabin. The Veranda Suite fit our desires perfectly. The balcony outside the sitting room was a great place to read a book, get fresh air, watch the scenery go by. The bed was good for sleeping and for storing suitcases underneth. We loved the bathroom with the heated floor. The safe was big enough for everything we wanted to put in it. The decor of the cabin was pleasant without artificial “fanciness”. Overall, a very nice 15 day home-away-from-home. Read Less

Our cabin was perfect. Extremely clean and cleaned well each day. The bed was very comfortable and linens were crisp. The bath room was spotless. The drapes block the outside lights at night so the room was dark for sleeping. The bedside light controls and reading lightin were excellent. The televisions were very good and the movie/TV show selections were ample. As a minor issue, I would have liked a shutoff timer on the bedroom TV to fall asleep by. The small outside patio we had was great when cruising and so relaxing. Out of Vikings control was the fact that harbormasters often placed another ship alongside ours when docked. This made the patio just a little less useful. Next cruise we will still want one. Read Less

Small but well laid out. Bathroom was again small but functioned very well. Even the shower was big enough for me - 6' w broad shoulders. Loved the balcony. We recommend to anyone going on Viking to pay the cost for a balcony. It was so pleasant to sit on the balcony as we cruised the rivers watching the country side glide by. Room for 2 of us to sit comfortably. Read Less
