Tired ship, poor maintenance, over promised and under delivered.

We've sailed with P&O many times, first sailing with them back in 2011. This was the first time we were going to receive 'priority' boarding, however our embarkation time was delayed due to the requirement for the ship to be deep cleaned after a gastro intestinal disease outbreak. We arrived on time for our delayed embarkation and waited two hours outside before we were let into the terminal. We ...

The food was raw Our cabin got flooded out we paid a extra £2500 for that room so they moved us to a different room what had a big overhang above it so no sun and they wouldn’t even reimburse the £2500 I paid to pick the room we paid £12500 for the cruise Very few staff could speak English No trays or cups in the buffet Boat smells full of rust Cabin was discussing smelt of ...

I am a mature female British Citizen. I travelled with P & O Cruises, on the Ship Ventura, for the first time. My Embarkation Date: 01/12/2022. From Southampton Port, UK. Disembarkation Date: 05/01/2023. Cruise Number: N233. Caribbean & USA Cruise. Single Passenger. Certain Ventura Staff and Passengers, behave in a Nasty, Hostile manner, towards people who have black/brown skin. Such Staff and ...

Boarding was messy. No porters so had to drop our cases ourselves then queue up outside the terminal in the cold for 30mins. Cabins are only surface cleaned once a day now and no evening turndown. Our cabin had handprints on the walls, the telephone was filthy and I don’t want to think about the carpet. I have to say that there were a lot more grossly overweight, tattooed passengers who ...

We chose this cruise to get away from the worst of the British Weather, although for the first 10 days it seemed we had taken it with us. Whilst the weather improved the cruise of Ventura got worse. Ship Overall Dirty on the Outside and just as bad on the insde especially Waterside Buffet which for a restaurant was particularly grubby with stains on seating, sofa style backrests and the ...

Friend checked for reviews of cabin f334 and it stated do not expect a good night's sleep. Absolutely correct as cabin creaked from set sail and reported many times, promised would be transfered to next available cabin. NOTHING HAPPENED! Could not get cabin cool enough.Reported many times, kept getting cards left stating ventilation engineer had called but no change. Eventually met with engineer ...

We were cancelled off the Oriana and decided to go on this one, unfortunately, probably the worst cruise I have ever been on, and we have cruised a lot, the Cabin was a Superior De-Luxe Balcony, the carpets were dirty, the settee was was awful, it was so old you sat on it and slid off, it needed replacing, the TVs were so old, and were secured on a shelf so that I IF you sat on the settee you ...

We take a 4 week cruise every January, this year we choose Ventura, a very big mistake. We had cabin D225, a Deluxe Bacony and booking over a year in advanced paid the full price. ( over 4 times the price P&O offered to last minute paseners for an inside cabin.) The cabin was a disgrace, a sette only fit for burning, dirty bed cover ( changed after complaining) discussing bath and overall a ...

Standards Have Plumetted!

There is absolutely nothing ‘Special’ about a P&O Cruise anymore. Standards have plummeted to ‘lows’ that are unacceptable in view of the claims made in P&O Cruise Brochures. For a company that sells its cruises on ‘The Fine Dining’ experience. Silver Service has gone, but they won’t tell you. – You have to find out for yourself. – Wine waiters have an impossible work load, not leaving their ...
