Outside Twin with Balcony and Shower Cabin Reviews
Adequate sized cabin. Comfortable bed and pillows. Bathroom a bit small but no smaller than a lot of cruise ships. Couple of marks on the carpet but no more that should be expected from a high usage room and much better than some hotels I have been in. Liked the mini dressing room arrangement. Efficiently cleaned by Emily. Read entire member review >>
One of the lights wasn't working when we took over the cabin. - But why did we have to ask for it to be fixed. - P&O claim "attention to detail" and the Cabin Stewards know these cabins inside out. My wife swiped a thick finger full of dust off of the dado rail. - When was that last cleaned. - The Shower room smelled of urine which permeated into the cabin. - The toilet subsequently began flushing with urine. - This was quickly fixed, but wasn't the cause of the smell. - We found out on the last day of the cruise that the extractor fan wasn't working. - Again why wasn't it fixed, - we didn't know, but the fans are so loud that it's obvious when they are not working! Cabin was in a quiet area, and was very nice. The layout was good, with plenty of stowage space, and the steward (Virag) was extremely helpful. All was kept very clean, and we did not have any problems that weren't sorted out quickly. Bathroom was very nice, Read entire member review >>
We were on Rivieria deck in cabin R254. The fridge didn't work, we did report it but no one came to sort it out (As we were only on a 2 day cruise, we wasn't that worried) Our TV remote had a mind of its own, again reported but nothing done about it. This cabin is unoverlooked, and had plenty of storage. The shower cubicle was teeny tiny, and we spend the whole time trying to stop crashing our elbows against the walls while showering. Luckily our son was in the next door cabin, so we wasn't that worried about waking him up!! Also the shower curtain continuously kept coming off its hooks.................
Very near the lifts, so not too much hiking!!
Sound proofing seemed ok, couldn't hear son snoring and he didn't hear us...Bonus..LOL Read entire member review >>
Situated starboard forward. Quiet and could only feel a gentle movement of the ship. Nice size balcony. Good layout of cabin with plenty storage space. Only (small) negative was the shower curtain instead of doors. Read entire member review >>
Great view down the length of the ship, clean, spacious and comfortable. Walk-in wardrobe space huge and plenty of room in the drawers too. Bad points would be the constant vibration and slight roll due to being right at the back, but not bad enough to really ruin your cruise. Read entire member review >>
Could have been a little cleaner, never dusted, only one chair to sit in. shower curtain which kept sticking to your body, shampoo not replenished.Balcony was good except two loungers only one foot stool, apparently only suits get 2 footstools. Read entire member review >>
our cabin was perfect for us. It was bigger than we anticipated and was attractively furnished and decorated. The shower room was small but adequate and the shower itself was very good.
The balcony was very private and of course gave us fantastic views!!!
We were very pleasantly surprised at the amount of wardrobe space and drawers, plenty of room also to store our suitcases. No complaints. Read entire member review >>
A superbly laid out disabled cabin. Loads of space for the wheelchair and the bathroom was well equiped. Disable friendly without feeling clinical. Nice wide balcony with level access doorway. Read entire member review >>
