Outside Twin with Balcony and Shower Cabin Reviews
I am not sure what category our cabin was but it was on 11th deck cabin B622. Balcony midship aft. very handy for laundrette and aft stairs and lifts also very close to midship stairs and lifts. Very quiet. Read entire member review >>
We were well looked after by steward Dinesh, but cabin rather tired and needs refurb. Stained carpet, balcony door doesn't seal and there are no voiles, just curtains. Cabin is ,however, well appointed and we experienced little noise from outside. Lots of creaks and rattles but the weather was pretty rough and the position (midships) definitely cut down the amount of movement Read entire member review >>
We had three cabins, C401, C405 and C409. They had larger balconies which were overlooked, but for the extra space were definitely a bonus and when the sun decided to show its face, the balcony had full sun. Read entire member review >>
The cabin was not bad, we had a balcony room which was OK, the bathroom was a little on the small side but adequate, and the hanging rail arrangement was better than the wardrobes you usually find. Our cabin steward was excellent. Friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble for him.
The balcony was a little smaller than we would have liked but great to sit and enjoy a G & T in the evening.
The position about 75% towards the back of the boat meant we did not suffer as much movement as those at the front of the boat. Believe me on Ventura this is important. Read entire member review >>
B 755 stern balcony cabin.Very spacious plenty of hanging space.Bathroom good and shower worked well. Cabin boy Sadashiv was great and he made towel animals for us on 2 occasions!Balcony very large-big enough to have sunbed extended. Read entire member review >>
The cabins on C deck (deck 10) have very large balconies - twice the size of those on the higher decks. They are have shaded and half overlooked from above. I would chose a deck 10 cabin again if I was on a "grand class" ship. The deluxe cabins on deck 9 (designated mini suites on Princess) have balconies that are totally overlooked. I don't think I would feel comfortable, and would chose a deck 10 standard cabin over a deck 9 superior for this reason. C423 is mid ships and quite close to the central staircase and elevators. We did not experience any noise from the corridor. The walk in wardrobe between the bathroom and the sleeping area adds an extra level of insulation. We didn't hear any noise from adjacent cabins either, but the awful music blasted out on deck 15 during sailaway parties could be heard on our balcony.
Would definitely recommend this cabin. Read entire member review >>
C Deck outside cabin with balcony very good. Balconies are large, about 10x10ft and half covered so you can still sit out even if it rains. Most other balconies much smaller on other decks.
Bright, clean with fridge, TV and tea making facilities.
Hanging space open plan but plenty for two people. Read entire member review >>
GOOD WARDROBE SPACE LOVELY HOT SHOWER. PLENTY OF TOWELS. NICE TO HAVE A TOP UP OF SWEETS WHEN RUNNING LOW. WOULD CHOOSE THIS CABIN AGAIN FOR ITS PROXIMITY TO BARS/RESTAURANTS ETC BUT ALSO NOT CORRIDOR NOISE AT ALL Read entire member review >>
B 422 (deck 11) port side with balcony. I chose this position as being amidships and about in the middle of the decks so assumed least movement in bad weather. Also, almost equidistant from dining rooms and pool/sun decks. Cabin generally very quiet but minor rattling on night with force 7 wind. We asked for the double bed configuration which I think gave more usable room than having it as two singles. There was a shower, basin and WC in the bathroom and this was rather cramped but adequate. For the majority of the port time our balcony was in the shade. Read entire member review >>
