Outside Twin with Balcony and Shower Cabin Reviews
The cabin was a bit tired but never the less comfortable,, clean, and looked after superbly buy Sandesh.Beds were comfy, shower small but adequte. In all it gave us a comfortable base.Lots of space for clothes in fact it also had enough room for getting dressed . Read entire member review >>
Smaller than we were used to but we knew that when booking as went for standard balcony. Cabin was clean and in decent state of repair. Decor is rather bland. Bed supremely comfortable - slept longer than we normally do. Enough wardrobe space for two adults although would prefer a closing wardrobe. Little in the way of drawers but a tall shelved cupboard for t-shirts, jumpers, etc. That cupboard also houses the safe. Small dressing table area and two small drawers at each side of the bed. Hairdryer provided was powerful enough to dry long hair fairly quickly. Mini bar fridge with kettle, mugs &a sachets of tea, coffee & milk. Biscuits also provided and pillow chocolates each evening.
Biggest gripe with cabin was a very small TV with a very slow interactive system Not easy trying to find a film to watch as no synopsis without having to select each one individually (which wouldn't have been too much of a problem if the system were quicker). Not a brilliant selection of films/tv for a lazy sea day or early night but we managed to find something to watch. Read entire member review >>
Cabin was spacious, had everything you need, well stocked tea & coffee. Plenty storage space normal size shower room, plenty water force in the shower. Balcony is one of the smaller ones but nothing to complain about, there is no obstruction of view. Cabin is directly across from launderette which is handy if you need to use the iron or wash anything and there was absolutely no noise from it. Lifts in good location Read entire member review >>
Stepped into cabin and saw the full length hanging rail. What a fantastic improvement. Even the smalls cupboard has been improved. I felt that the balcony was a bit on the small side Read entire member review >>
Clean, tidy, a little tired. Our Steward was able to clean and change our room in what appeared to be a few seconds. He was helpful attentive and did all he could to make our stay on board special. They work long hours and it is hard work, if something is not right tell them and they will try to put it right. Don't wait till you get home and tell us about it, it's too late and unfair on the stewards if they have not been given the opportunity to do somthing. Read entire member review >>
Cabin had ample storage space, safe built in which would hold full sized ipad etc.Shower had great water pressure and was always hot, shower curtain was new. Good sized balcony with two reclining chairs, footstool and small table, balcony was clean but hand rail needed revarnished. Read entire member review >>
Smaller bathroom than we're used to on RCI/Celebrity and a much smaller shower cubicle! No wardrobe, (as such), but a preferred large hanging rail for clothes and tons of cupboard/shelving for garments. No sofa bed, (not required), but otherwise, all excellent, with a 9'x5' balcony. Cabin was spacious with a large walk-in wardrobe. Bathroom was a little small, but it was nota problem. Balcony with 2 chairs and a little table but was clean and we hardly used it except for embarkation. Read entire member review >>
Very quiet location, midships, not too far from lifts, great views. Plenty of wardrobe space, only just enough hangers. Could have done with a bit more drawer space, Complimentary tea and coffee making facilities. Small fridge for keeping drinks cool. Air conditioning good. Toilet and shower clean and adequate size Read entire member review >>
Ventura AJ balcony was a good size, plenty of hanging wardrobe space and open i thought this was a better idea. Clean white soft towels every day, corridor and cabin quiet, maybe a more comfortable chair in the cabin would be nice, possible two! i don't like lying on the bed when in the cabin, that's for sleeping. The only thing i was not happy with and did not notice it straight away was the dirty valance on our bed, looked like spills of drink from previous guests. Read entire member review >>
R714 located on deck 14 which is as high as you can go for cabins. We were on the Port side. We had a balcony which was small, the beds were comfortable but the pillows had rocks and pebbles in them! I have never come across pillows like them.
There were three canvas prints on the wall which I would describe as NAIVE ARTWORK, the large centre one has so may colours in it it made you feel a little ill (we covered it up for the 2 weeks we were there).
The bathroom was very small, the shower unit was triangular and when you came to bend over to do you legs you had to stick you head out of the curtain, not good!
Some very strange engine noises heard at night together with various vibrations. We think due to the size and shape of the ship you experience more rocking when at sea and at night in bed the rocking motion can get quite severe. Read entire member review >>
