This was our first Viking ocean cruise. We've been on a Viking river cruise previously, as well as numerous cruises on other cruise lines. The Viking experience was different than on the larger ships. With 900 passengers, the ship never felt crowded and we had no problem going to different venues and finding seats.

I've mostly sailed in Mexico and Western Caribbean. I've always wanted to do the Western Mediterranean. I found this big ship beautiful and well maintained. Everything was polished and clean. Originally, I chose this cruise because it was on the Brilliance OTS and had a golf course and a solarium pool with steps leading into it as my wife has a bad right arm and is waiting for a operation so being moved to the Enchantment meant no golf and not being able to get in the pool, so she was a bit upset but not the worst thing that could happen.

The itinerary had port day each day visiting 7 different countries and 2 islands. A little overwhelming at first as I thought I would wear myself out.
