My husband and two teenage daughters (14 and 17) took this cruise in April. Weather was perfect for sightseeing and lots of walking-about 3-5 miles a day between excursions and our own exploring of ports. Overall, the vacation was wonderful! We spent 2 days in Venice before the cruise and took the water taxi over to the terminal which was fun and efficient. The ship is a bit older, not a lot ...

We choose this cruise because of the awesome itinerary. The ports did not disappoint. Malta, Mallorca, Florence and Barcelona were all awesome! We spent 3 nights in Venice before the cruise and while the weather was cool and windy we loved Venice. We really liked the size of the cruise ship and our balcony stateroom was roomy enough with lots of storage. The ship is older, but kept in good ...

We chose this cruise for the ports of call. It was a way to see a number of cities in Europe, and not have to move hotels every 2 days. We enjoyed the various ports we visited and the tours we took were all excellent. The service on the ship was also very good. Our wait staff in the dining room were exceptional and our cabin was well maintained, However i had to ask for shampoo, shower gel, etc. ...

The best... OH NO

When choosing this cruise I was expecting the best. The best ship, the best service, the best dining, the best entertainment, the best children activities, the best adult activities, the best shore excursions, the best cabin, and the best ports. While some of these were good, none were the best by any means. Entering this ship is a nightmare. If you enjoy being rounded up like cattle, then ...

The deal was great, our friends had been with Royal Caribbean before several times ( not this ship ) we were excited, had waited a year, Flight fab, getting on board Fab ( gold members ) our room was spotless, Antonio our Cabin boy Excellent service, but I am afraid that is were it stops, well not quite, the food in Windjammer and the staff were Excellent, we were shown to our room 8533, bang bang ...

Never again! But thats just me. To pay top dollar to spend 7 nights in a shoebox with no windows is not my idea of fun. It seemed to me it was a feeding frenzy for overweight people and pensioners. Too little time at the stops and a constant worry that we would not make it back in time. 2500 people on board and unless you book a pool lounger before breakfast, you will not have place to sit at the ...

We chose this cruise for the itinerary - Greek Isles - and also a special offer of free flights & transfers. We didn't think to research the ship prior to booking as we have thoroughly enjoyed both Navigator of the Seas (2013) and Allure of the Seas (for our honeymoon last June) and were confident that we would enjoy any RC ship. For us, the ship had less appeal as obviously being a smaller ...

We sailed on Vision of the Seas on 7th to 14th May and had the most wonderful holiday. Having sailed on RCS larger ships previously, the size of the Vision took some getting used to and the choice of food and entertainment was somewhat limited in comparison however that said Captain Merek and his team ensured that we all had a great time. Nothing was too much trouble ......everyone on board was ...

Dry Dock Syndrome

We discovered a few days after the cruise started, that this ship, Vision of the Seas, was going into dry-dock immediately following the end of our journey. This explained a lot about the condition of the ship and the attitude of many of the staff and crew. I have travelled with Royal Caribbean before on Voyager of the Seas a couple of years ago. It was splendid. The service was top notch ...
