Weather was perfect for sightseeing and lots of walking-about 3-5 miles a day between excursions and our own exploring of ports. Overall, the vacation was wonderful! We choose this cruise because of the awesome itinerary. The ports did not disappoint. Malta, Mallorca, Florence and Barcelona were all awesome! We spent 3 nights in Venice before the cruise and while the weather was cool and windy we loved Venice.

We chose this cruise for the ports of call. It was a way to see a number of cities in Europe, and not have to move hotels every 2 days. We enjoyed the various ports we visited and the tours we took were all excellent. The service on the ship was also very good. When choosing this cruise I was expecting the best. The best ship, the best service, the best dining, the best entertainment, the best children activities, the best adult activities, the best shore excursions, the best cabin, and the best ports. We discovered a few days after the cruise started, that this ship, Vision of the Seas, was going into dry-dock immediately following the end of our journey. This explained a lot about the condition of the ship and the attitude of many of the staff and crew.
