Arrived in Venice, transfer was smooth, however embarked on deck 4 - when we've been before there has always been huge welcome on Piazza/Plaza deck.Disappointing. Ship was appealing and as has been previously said did not feel as large as it really is. Pools: Great layout- busy on sea days - some live music but definitely could be more!! I was told there is more in the caribbean by the cruise ...

Overall my family of 4 had a great time. The ship is absolutely beautiful and very clean. Embarkation/disembarkation were very easy and the cashless system within the ship very convenient. The automatic $10.50 tip per person per day is also convenient but it feels weird not to tip individual people for their great service (and we did find many employees that went out of their way to serve and be ...

My husband and I took the 12 day Grand Mediterranean cruise on the Emerald Princess leaving from Venice on June 29th. Let me give u a little back ground on our selves, we are in our early 30's and have never cruised before but have travelled abroad twice before. We thought we would finally try a cruise but like everyone else, we had our reservations. We were concerned about getting seasick, the food and if we would even like the ship! We decided to fly into London first and spend a week there exploring before ...

Having sailed on much smaller ships, we were apprehensive about our cruise on this very large one, but I must say that with few exceptions, our fears were unfounded. The length of the passageways (which seemed to stretch interminably) was a bit daunting at first but we soon got used to navigating our way around and were never conscious of being part of a group of over 3000 passengers. The cabin ...
