Little help from staff

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on Riviera

Chose this cruise because of the itinerary (Grecian Glory--Greece, Turkey, Italy) and also because we were traveling with a single adult daughter and wanted something fun for her--hopefully some young people on board. Pros: Clean, nice ship. Food in specialty restaurants good, but main dining areas the food was just average. Staterooms are a good size, with plenty of storage, walk in closets, ...

Overall a pretty good experience for our first time on O. A bunch of little things went wrong and we tried not to let it spoil the whole cruise. The ship is easy to get around but could use more elevators aft as they are always busy (that's largely where the food is). Dining ranged from spectacular (La Reserve) to very good (Toscana, Jacques) to surprisingly good (buffet on 12, pool grill) ...

Decent, but do not book any excursions through them. Not worth it!

Manly booked this for the itinerary. It was a 12 night - Venice to Barcelona . 11-1-18 to 11-13-18. Excursions were not as described. The stops listed were not accurate. One location did not have the handicrafts village as highlighted. Another town was completely closed on the day we were there. Nothing to see at all! They return you back to the ship 2-3 hours before ship left port. Not ...

Recommended by a friend.- learned the hard way that Oceania was less concerned about passengers who did not book through them directly. We booked our airfare and ground transfers through Oceania. When we arrived in Venice at approximately 9:00am, we had to collect our luggage and walk what we believe was an unreasonable distance to the bus. We were tired after an 8+ hour flight and did not ...

My husband wanted to try out Oceania and loved the itinerary on this Riviera cruise. We definitely enjoyed the itinerary as it was in many ports we hadn't been to before. As for the ship, it was very nice and also our cabin. We enjoyed our dining in the main Grand dining room but all the hype about the speciality restaurants certainly didn't live up to their bragging. We enjoyed the food ...

I chose this cruise based on the itinerary as well as my past experience with the Marina about 3 years ago on a Baltic Cruise which was beyond fabulous. I highly recommended this cruise to my friends and 3 of them accompanied us on this trip. One also has booked the Owners Suite in December on one of the first all Cuba cruises on Oceania. I had raved about the food and service on Oceania. I ...

This was our first cruise on Oceania and it will be the last. This was our 37th cruise. We chose Oceania as it was my birthday, and my sister's 45 wedding anniversary. 1 - Embarkation in Venice was excellent. 2 - Cabin was excellent but not the attendants. The cabin was made up every day but each and every day there was a requirement to ask for water/soft drink/soap replenishment. This ...

Thanks for the opportunity of telling others what Oceania's Riviera is all about: MONEY. I am a 72 year convinced capitalist but there are limits. My wife and I were sold this cruise by our travel agent. She warned us about the shore excursions, buy her warnings felt short of the reality. Let me give you an example: Their least expensive excursion in Florence was $175.00 per person. This ...
