Great cruise and service!

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on Norwegian Spirit

Being on a 12-day cruise that is port heavy turned out to the be great! There are reviews that I read previous to this cruise that said we would be let off 2 hours after arriving at each port and have to get on the ship 2 hours before leaving each port...that's not true. We got off very quickly (often times getting to port early), were able to get off the ship within 5 to 15 minutes of the ...

I haven't cruised for 30 years so my husband and I were really first time cruisers - therefore I have nothing to compare my experience to. I should, also, say we are budget-minded, too. -he Spirit is going in for a re-haul in a few months. We traveled for the ports, but the Asian decor in a few places was weird, otherwise, the ship was clean. We did the "sail away" option with an inside room. ...

We were looking for a cruise in October to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. We like Mediterranean, and have already cruised on this ship. Cabin was okay. Nothing special. Somewhat cramped, but generally typical for standard balcony cabin on Norwegian. We have been on this ship before, and have done several Norwegian cruises. We are Platinum level. Overall, we feel that quality of ...

Great itinerary

The NCL Spirit is an older ship. The smaller size makes it a lot more comfortable than the big mega ships floating around these days. The bathroom was average. It did have an enclosed glass shower ( not a curtain, but glass doors) as well as a glass enclosed toilet area. I found the food in the buffet better than the food in the dining rooms. The selection of the morning buffet did not ...

We cruised with NCL to see what they had to offer and I wish we hadn't. Before we cruised i read a lot of reviews on here and decided the we would give NCL the benefit of the doubt. Onthe surface the ship looks nice however this is where it stops when you start to scratch beneath the surface you start to see how old this ship is, Having cruised with both P&O and Royal Carribbean in the past this ...

This cruise was scheduled as the Ports of Call were exceptional. This itinerary was allowed us to visit many of the world's most famous historical sights. The ship was well laid out and the food was excellent. We enjoyed the variety of the social areas, Service was acceptable, with exceptional waiters and bartenders at specific, venues. We enjoyed several ship activities during our days at ...

Chose this cruise based on date and itinerary and were certainly not disappointed. Weather was perfect, destinations great, staff on ship friendly , helpful and wonderful. Our balcony cabin was comfortable with lots of storage and a very comfy bed. The ship was spotless, elegantly decorated and just the perfect size for us. We rarely took advantage of the specialty dining due to exhaustion from ...

We chose this ship so we could celebrate our 25th wedding anniversay on 25th April 2017. As it was the first cruise I had ever been on, I was very aprehensive about being out on the open sea and also not knowing what to expect from a cruise ship. However, it turned out I was worrying about nothing, we had an amazing cruise experience and the itinerary was perfect. We actually enjoyed the sea days ...

We have been on a few cruises and I think three with NCL. We liked the informality of NCL and thought the service great. Our last cruise in May 2017 was to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. Overall the cruise was excellent. Ship had everything you could hope for and was clean and well organised. Cabin was very clean and we had first class cabin service. Staff everywhere on the ship ...

Venice to Israel and back again

Review for a Europe - All Cruise on Norwegian Spirit

My mum has always wanted to return to Israel having visited 30 years ago and this was her first adventure ever on a cruise ship. I was concerned about sailing on the oldest smallest ship in the fleet, as I usually choose new ships. This was my first time on NCL. The ports were amazing, Venice, Split, Kotor, Rhodes, Isreal overnight, Crete, Rhodes and Cyprus. I was worried that the weather ...
