Being on a 12-day cruise that is port heavy turned out to the be great! There are reviews that I read previous to this cruise that said we would be let off 2 hours after arriving at each port and have to get on the ship 2 hours before leaving each port...that's not true. We were looking for a cruise in October to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. We like Mediterranean, and have already cruised on this ship.
Cabin was okay. Nothing special. Somewhat cramped, but generally typical for standard balcony cabin on Norwegian. We have been on this ship before, and have done several Norwegian cruises. We are Platinum level.

I haven't cruised for 30 years so my husband and I were really first time cruisers - therefore I have nothing to compare my experience to. I should, also, say we are budget-minded, too. -he Spirit is going in for a re-haul in a few months. We traveled for the ports, but the Asian decor in a few places was weird, otherwise, the ship was clean.

This cruise was scheduled as the Ports of Call were exceptional. This itinerary was allowed us to visit many of the world's most famous historical sights.

The NCL Spirit is an older ship. The smaller size makes it a lot more comfortable than the big mega ships floating around these days. The bathroom was average.
