Defunct toilet for 30 nights

Our two daughters my husband and myself boarded in Venice for a trip of a lifetime. We had a cabin with a toilet flushing problem. We reported the problem and engineers came on several occasions to change parts but they could never fix the problem. The ship was only 3/4 full but we were never offered another cabin. We had to use the downstairs public bathroom the entire cruise. On our last ...

It was on our bucket list to go on a cruise. Having chosen the MSC line and wanting to go on a cruise to include the Greek islands MSC seemed a good choice however from admission in them sun at 13.30 in Venice being treated as sheep at the dock was a bad start. No greeting by happy staff. A muddle through check in and on to a shabby ship. Very run down. During our cruise every time we docked and ...

The worst service we have ever received on more than 50 holidays. Bad food, bad service with no eye contact or a care for the customer and you pay for everything - literally nothing is added for the enjoyment of the customer. We were an inconvenience to the staff. The waiters could not be bothered to offer a service. We queued for half an hour- glad we didn’t get the drinks package-we would still ...

We have travelled with MSC many times and have always been satisfied, however, when the service model changed recently it seems so has our opinion. The embarkation process was a complete joke, keeping people outside the terminal for hours in the blazing sun pushing heavy suitcases. From then on it went one way, down! As we had no choice but to pay the service charge we expected the service to be ...

American Airlines Cruise recommend this cruise and for that they will never get my business again. I have been on numerous cruises Carnival, Princess, NCL & Celebrity and I would pick any of these any day. We booked an Aura Suite because we wanted this to be a trip to be first class, but we got 3rdclass besides the private sunning area. We were suppose to get priority embarking and ...

Embarkation was a horrible experience, 2 hours under the hot sun, no place to sit and no shade. The overall attitude of the staff,RUDE. The cabin had mold in the tub, the sheets were not changed the entire week. The food variety was very limited and almost the same thing all the time, the quality was mediocre. The service, non existent, the tables were always full of dirty dishes and most of ...

From the moment we boarded in Venice to the time we left this cruise was an absolute nightmare. Firstly there were incredible lines waiting to board making everyone stand in the sun in above 40 degree temperatures. There were only two people handling this and it was so poorly run. Then we left the port 10 hours later than scheduled which then impacted on the time we spent in Split, Croatia. We ...

The ONLY reason we chose this cruise was because it was going to Mykonos and Santorini. Mykonos got cancelled with very short notice because of high winds ( there was barely a zephyr! ) I am thinking it was because of high docking costs, now saved by MSC but not refunded to the passengers. The only shore excursion I booked was cancelled less than 24 hours because of lack of numbers, then the one I ...

Very disappointing

Let me start by saying that the staff on the Sifonia was amazing. Sadly, they all were miserable and ready for their "sentence" to end. We sailed from Venice to Split, Croatia, to Santorini, Mykonos another stop in Italy and back to Venice. The cruise ship and MSC as a whole was a tragic disgrace and I would NEVER ever recommend it to anyone. - Horrible coordination & process - ...

First of all the positives. We had a lovely cabin, very clean and spacious. The staff were very helpful on the whole and did try their best. The bar areas were lovely as was the theatre. The entertainment in the theatre pretty average. The entertainment team were also very good at what they did. However the negatives of this ship outweigh the positives and for all of the following ...
