This is the best way to see the Mediterranean sights!!

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Orchestra

We are a family of 4 (parents with 16yo girl and 12yo boy) from Australia. We first cruised the West Mediterranean on MSC Fantasia (which was so spectacular) and then we had free transfers from one ship to the next (Genoa to Venice). The transfer was well organised and we got priority boarding on Orchestra being part of the transfer passengers. The ship was very tastefully decorated in comparison ...

THE WORST CRUISE EVER -- AVOID THIS CRUISE LINE

This is unquestionably the worst cruise ship we have been on over a twenty years plus of sailing, Customer relations desk and its staff - were in the main very off hand, We had a problem with noise being so close to the engines - I had asked to speak to the manager of customer relations it took TWO days before she repondended -- EXTRAS It seemed to us that everywhere you looked - ...

This was a working holiday looking after a selection of bingo customers this was my first cruise and I was not sure what to expect, I enjoyed most aspects of the cruise, the room had a balcony but I rarely had time to enjoy it, it took a few days to get to grips with where the different bars and dining areas were, the buffet service had a great selection of food but at certain times it was more ...

Disappointed

Embarked from Venice and I would not recommend leaving from this city for a cruise. We stayed at a hotel some distance from the People Mover, but decided to walk. We hired a porter to take our luggage, and watched him struggle over a bridge with steps. The streets were crowded which made it difficult to manoeuvre. The People Mover (train) is accessible and cheap, and takes you to a drop-off ...

Average Ship with Excellent Employees

Very average cruise ship in all regards.. with the exception being the shows at night, and the excellent employees. The MSC Orchestra has the feeling of being back in the 80's, with no "wow!" factor at all. There's a reason we got 3 persons for the price of 2 in high season out of Venice (Eastern Med cruise). The dancers and performers were amazing and could have easily been in Vegas. The ...

Special celebration for my 65th birthday. This was not acknowledged on board. Other cruises have shared a special celebration with us. The internet is not recommended. Just wait until you dock somewhere. It is a waste of money even for the most expensive option. We will not order again. The room cleaning service was excellent. The restaurant service was excellent. Both of our ...

Very Good Cruise

We thought this was a very good cruise, but must admit it is my first cruise so I can’t make comparisons. We were apprehensive because of all the bad reviews, but this was not our experience. Boarding & disembarking - yes there were queues but plenty of staff and all went smoothly, no different to airports and I don’t mind all the security. Since they were boarding over 2000 passengers you ...

Cruised on MSC Orchestra. The ship was lovely, clean and tidy. Not too big and not too small. We had cabin 11080 which was a balcony and it was a slight bigger balcony than the normal ones as it was on the corner. 2 adults and 1 teenager and we were very comfortable and not cramped in. The room was clean and tidy and was looked after am & pm. The staff was really great and always spoke to ...

My friends and I chose this cruise for A) Itinerary B) to try a new cruise line - bad mistake. Embarkation absolute chaos - staff too busy trying to sell packages, i.e. photo's/dvd's/drinks/excursions/spa etc the list goes on. No one to actually help with smooth boarding. The 'Hawkers' always managed to chose the narrow point of passage way, where it was impossible to pass without being ...

Loved our cruise

We did this cruise as a back to back cruise after MSC Fantasia. Yes MSC Fantasia was amazing and we were a bit let down by this ship, due to its size and pool area not as big as Fantasia, But however the staff were just as wonderful, and the other passengers just as annoying, with their yelling, hogging sun loungers and pushing and shoving at the buffet. I don't fault these cruises its just the ...
