Party Ship

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Opera

This was our first cruise with M.S.C. cruises and we chose this cruise for the itinerary not the ship. Before we booked our cruise we looked on various websites for reviews on the Opera but there was not many, and what there was were not very good. The majority of the passengers were from Italy as you would expect as this cruise line is Italian and sailing from Venice. If anyone is looking for a ...

Never ever again will I ever step foot on this cruise company!!!! One activity every hour. For 2500 passengers!!! Boring! Not enough restaurants to feed people resulting in very long queues with a lot of angry people! Rude and extremely ignorant staff!!! A lady fainted in front of me and not one staff member went to help her! This ship is unsafe as the crew have no idea of what they are ...

Disappointing

We felt there was a lot of waiting in lines. But the guests were very rude, arrogant & pushy. And people invade your space. Waiting for a shuttle bus, for approx 200 people and only one arrived a fight broke out. There needs to be more organisation. There is hardly any waiting staff around the pool & go to the bar you would die of thirst waiting to be served. The ship is clean, but in parts ...

First impression on entering the ship and speaking to customer service we didn't think we would enjoy, as we had booked a drink package and disappointingly they had no southern comfort. This is our 8th cruise and first ship not to supply this. That being said if customer service would have apologised and at least tried to find an alternative we would have been a tad happier. Customer service ...

I have been on numerous cruises With various cruiselines over the years but I have never been on a cruise as BAD as this! Dirty cabin, dirty food halls, overcrowding, rude staff, the list goes on! Spend your well earned cash on a more reputable company because MSC falls way beyond poor value. I shouldn’t have to ask for a clean cabin, I shouldn’t have to ask for for clean linen, cutlery and ...

Great destinations and most staff. However the ship is a disaster. They spent millions extending the ship when really they should have towed it to the middle of the Atlantic and used it as target practice.... The stairs and lifts are not logical. Some go all the way some stop a floor before you want and others stop before one before you want to get to.all If you have a window or an inside ...

Very disappointing for a family reunion

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Opera

We chose this cruise for a family reunion, with 14 people coming in from 4 different countries across 3 continents. The embarkation process was smooth and we were able to go to the buffet and seat ourselves right away. However, within the first day, the bathroom in one of our staterooms was clogged right away, and did not get fixed for over 48 hours. Even worse, this was grandma's room - so ...

Dedicated staff despite accident

I am writing this review although our cruise did not go as planned. It has been widely reported in the papers about the MSC Opera accident in Venice. An extremely unfortunate event due to a mechanical failure. That being said, I would like to commend MSC and it’s Opera staff for working so hard to assist the passengers and create a positive atmosphere. Laura at reception was instrumental in ...

Awful service and after care

This was our first cruising experience and definitely our last with MSC. We travelled with another family who have been on quite a few cruises. From the start we were left feeling disappointed with the length of question to board the ship and then being ushered past the welcome drinks because of the que system to get on board. Our room was small but there was no mention in the brochure ...

[Borrador] Este mensaje no se ha enviado. Guardado: Mié 29/05/2019 18:41 Since we left the airport the entire experience was Incredibly bad. The bus that took us to the port was leaking, the bus was maybe from 1920's old as my grandma or older but in worst shape. The driver got lost going to the port. The check in to get into the cruise was tedious. They made us wait 45 minutes in ...
