I tend to write long reviews, so here it goes! My husband and I cruised on MSC on a 12 day itinerary RT Venice and the Mediterranean. We are seasoned cruisers, having cruised on Holland America, Carnival, Royal Caribbean, Celebrity and Princess, but we had not cruised with MSC before. We chose this particular cruise because of the itinerary which included an overnight in Haifa, Israel and ...
Choose this cruise as dates fitted with school holidays.we're do I start! embarkation was very disorganised and took over an hour.when we arrived at our cabin there was a letter saying the itinary had been changed due to unscheduled maintenance activity which would slightly reduce our speed when I went to reception was told all agents had been informed I phoned my agent and spoke to other ...
Me and my friends decided to take a Mediterranean cruise, we’ve taken a few Caribbean’s ones, and this cruise was terrible only good thing was the itinerary. I was in a different room and right when I walked in it smelled like fumes, went to my friends room. The floor was filthy, so we went straight to guest services, they did not care at all, throughout the duration we complained multiple times ...
Best prices ever, food was on point ,the neatness of the cabins, dining setup was classy, Oooh the excursions were great. I really, really enjoyed this cruise I will never forget the extra service from the medical staff to the security .The staff was amazing always go an extra mile. Was happy to see South Africans working on board.. meeting new friends . Will do this again with my crew this year ...
I would try to give an honest review. First of all I would like to start of saying that I read a lot of negative reviews and was a bit upset before going on this cruise, but thankfully I read them after I booked so I could not really change anything. At this point I can say that the people who wrote those reviews either had high expectations or very spoiled. Now let me start my review with saying ...
The food was poor, even in the restaurant. We decided to go to the sushi restaurant which was also v. poor. The chicken from the noodle soup was dry and resembled the grilled chicken served as an alternative in the restaurant which make me think this was leftovers (paid 84 Euro's to find this out).
The 2 hot tubs didn't work for the first 2 days of the cruise, then when they were repaired ...
We took the msc Lirica for 7 nights med. cruise. We chose this cruise because of the itinerary and quality Italian and international cuisine. (as the brochure stated).
The food was below average to poor.
At the dining rooms the food portions were very small, tasteless bland and luke warm, but often cold. I left most of the meals. We decided to eat at the buffet as was told food better ...
Best Vacation
I traveled the Mediterranean aboard the MSC Lyrica for 8 days in September with a few girlfriends and had an absolute blast. I was amazed at how hard the crew worked during our stay. They were very attentive & accommodating.
We paid for the unlimited drink package in advance and when we arrived, our cabin cards did not reflect such. We went to the reception desk and were taken ...
This was our first cruise not with Holland America but we were soon appreciative of the comfort and luxury offered by MSC.
The accommodation was excellent and the food exceeded our expectations.
The itinerary both on board and the excursions suited us well as we are both nearly 70 being able to relax and enjoy the leisurly days as we wanted was important. The public spaces were a little ...
Chose the cruise because we liked the itinerary and had heard good things about MSC.
On arrival at Venice we were kept waiting for ages at the terminal waiting for our transfer. We were given no information but found out later that there were problems due to the fog. Check in procedure could have been better, another long wait. Cabin was excellent, very spacious, fantastica suite.
