Worst cruise ever

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Armonia

I have cruised over 14 times, first and last time with MSC! Overcrowded, understaffed and dirty. Purchased a drink package, but getting a drink from the bar is a mess. Servers are overwhelmed, waiting 30 minutes, begging a bar tender to fill you order. The food is terrible! I won’t cruise with MSC again. Royal Caribbean is night and day difference and much higher quality! The buffet can’t keep up ...

We have cruised over 14 times with many different cruise lines. This was our 30th wedding anniversary and a cruise to greece.. What a mess! The staff was completely understaffed, disgruntled and overwhelmed! Getting a drink was a nightmare! The food was terrible! We were so disappointed! The dining room is usually such a memorable experience.. Not on msc! The buffets were not replenished and ...

Very smooth experience priority boarding in terminal. I had booked two suites and the Aurea experience, so we had a nice check in. It ended there as there was a long queue and wait for the tender. Apparently, the boat was late arriving and therefore late disembarking. These things happen but we weren't informed and had to sit freezing on the tender for over two hours and felt very ...

The MSC Armonia is old and tired. Smoking is allowed in the casino and outside at designated smoking areas. Doesn’t make the ship smell very nice. The tendering process for embarking was not explained beforehand and is extremely slow. Service is awful in the restaurants as well as the quality of food. The only reason we picked this specific cruise/company was the travel dates. Bed sheets were ...

I have been on many cruises lines. Celebrity, Carnival, Princess, Costa, Norweigan, Royal Caribbean but this is my first cruise on MSC. The procedure to embark was a joke. It took almost 2 hours to get on the ship. They had 7 agents for over 2000 people. The girls outside attempting to coordinate entry to the ship were rude and made most of us stand outside in the 90 degree sun for over 45 minutes ...

The food is terrrible, it is luke warm and totally tasteless, I have never experienced anything like it, mass catering on a very low budget is the only way I can describe it, do not bother to complain about anything at reception they have no interest in anything you have to say, they do not respond to any requests other than to say they will contact you ' we are still waiting to be contacted about ...

MSC ARMONIA 27/09/2013  04/10/2013 Cabin 1070 Being frequent cruisers my wife and I have just returned from a cruise aboard the MSC Armonia with four other members of our family. I am writing this letter of complaint about the appalling food and general service on board. The food choices at breakfast were limited, under cooked and cold. The toast was inedible-one of our party chipped a tooth ...

We have just returned from 7 nights on the Armonia and the only saving grace was the places visited. Embarkation was smooth and quick and we were on board in less than half an hour, The ship itself is beautiful and very clean everywhere. The cabins are ample as cabins go with a good sized window. Nicely decorated and very comfy. Shower a bit on the small size but again adequate. We arrived in ...

Embarkation OK no disabled check in though, cabin supposed to be biggest inside on ship so the others must have been very very small. Food in buffet deck 11 is a joke, breakfast, lunch and dinner, everyday the same hardly any rotation. All geared to Italians i had a bowl of cereals in morning, we had to get every lunch off ship in port, and dinner was a cheese roll and fries. Pizzas and fruit at ...

VERY DISAPPOINTED : No tables for two at the restaurants, always seating at tables of 6 - unacceptable! We went for the first night and that was ENOUGH! We ate at the cafeteria for the rest of the trip - ALL MEALS! Food was average at best... Water, softdrinks and coffee were all charged EXTRA and at a VERY HIGH PRICE ! To be exact ; at TWICE the price of the most expensive restaurants on their ...
