PRETTY AVERAGE CRUISE

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Armonia

We travelled with friends as a group of four and sailed on the Armonia in July 2014. Ports were Venice ,Ancona, Santorini, Mykonos, Kotor and Split. Overall the cruise line itself is pretty average . The ports were fabulous - especially Kotor and Split so it is worth doing this cruise just for the destinations you will visit . The big thing on this ship is that it is dominated by large groups ...

been on a few cruise lines...and overall this wasn't bad for the money.its not the same class as celebrity...but you don't pay the prices either. we upgraded to a balcony cabin...still good value.room was large and very tastefully set out.the only prob being that nearly all balcony cabins are on deck 10....above is the open pool deck...and u get woken every morning about 7am with the crew moving ...

Date of departure: 27th September 2013 I travel with my elderly Dad and disabled son, we are frequent cruisers as cruise ships (and crews) are geared up for the elderly and disabled. We always share a triple berth cabin. We chose this cruise for the itinerary - Ancona, Dubrovnik, Corfu, Gythion (we had to omit because of bad weather),Cefalonia and Kotor. All ports access to World Heritage sights ...

Review of MSC Armonia, September 28, 2012 This is not a cruise for the average American, but if you know what you are getting into you can have a very good time. Moreover, Italian cruise lines (MSC and Costa) are often right now an amazing bargain, partly due to the fear caused by the resent Costa Concordia disaster, one of the worst since the Titanic. As usual, people always over-react to ...

This was a very last minute holiday for us and we were pleased with how the travel agent made sure we got on this cruise. We got it at a very reasonable price and got an upgrade to an outside cabin which was great. Couldn't complain about embarkation as that was quick and efficient and our cabin was fine. Our luggage arrived almost immediately and we were unpacked and ready for an explore in next ...

Embellishing publicity to wrap cover a poor content cruise.

Real cruise cost is MORE EXPENSIVE than cruise fare shown on MSC website: EXTRA hidden Service SURcharge acknowledged in cruise booklet at check-in, NOT SHOWN on MSC website. Total cost = Cruise fare + hidden Service SURcharge of 7 euros/pax/night. For example: for 7 nights, 2 persons: Cruise fare + 98 euros (7 euros x 7 x 2 pers.). Too much time spent at sea. Except Athens, Santorini and ...

We chose a ship for the itinerary and time of year. MSC fit that category and also thought it would be interesting and an experience to cruise on an Itaian Ship. I have always enjoyed the Italian culture and personality as warm and passionate; yet this was profoundly missing. The high majority of the reception & accounting staff were rude, un-concerned about their passengers and completely ...
