This was a celebratory trip for our 10 year wedding anniversary. We did a portion of our honeymoon on Queen Victoria, and loved it.

First Holiday together since the children were born, now they have left home.
Convenient flight departure from Heathrow generous 23kg hold luggage allowance plus cabin luggage
Seamless embarkation plenty of staff guiding us to the coaches, luggage taken separately.

We had heard much about Cunard from friends so we thought we must try it. Cunard staff were all absolutely delightful and showed genuine interest in our well being. I would single out the waitstaff in the Club Britannia restaurant in particular as being just perfect as was the food. They made our 2 weeks onboard utterly enjoyable.

This was only our second cruise and we picked it because we wanted to experience the "luxury" of Cunard. We were aware that the clientele would be older and were OK with that.
Embarkation in Venice was somewhat chaotic and very slow, there was not a big crowd, but it took a long time to get through the process, not really great in this automated day and age.
