I choose this cruise for the ports and price. The airport transfer from Civitavecchia-Rome to the bus was chaos. Individuals were checked in and then it took an hour before you were led to the bus. We choose this cruise based on Itinerary. But in the weeks leading up to the cruise, NCL republished the time of the port stops, and I think all but the stops in Turkey had the time reduced in port. The cruise ran like an efficient machine, the service was great and all the staff were exceptionally friendly.
The food choices were expansive and pretty good...although towards the end of the cruise it became obvious that the food was a little old.

Embarkation Port: Per NCL this cruise left out of Venice...or so we thought. NCL listed the embarkation port as Venice (Trieste). Overall we were very disappointed with the service in the main restaurant. The issues included food cold and needed to be returned, possible food poisoning from coq au Vin, drink service very slow with reason stated it was hard to find wine glasses!
Overall this ship appeared to us to be a training ship. Lots of corners being cut, lack of management of the staff to help guide them.
