We chose this cruise/ line based on the itinerary. We booked Aqua Class but didn’t really use anything but Blu. We ate in here every night and were able to choose the Blu menu or Main Dining Room menu. We enjoyed the smaller, quieter space. Food was good, but not sure it was any better than the NCL cruises we’ve been on in the past. The crew was phenomenal- super patient and friendly. I observed ...

Lovely staff, good food and great ports!

We picked this cruise as an experience for friends who had never cruised before. Long enough to get the idea, but not too long! The ship is lovely, older than some of the new glitzy models but more to our taste. We had an oceanview, fine and a very reasonable price. Deck two, quiet and fine for the short time we were there. The cabin steward was ok, not great but kept the cabin clean. We ...

We chose this cruise because most of these ports were new to us. We wanted a cruise that would depart out of Venice. We went 4 days early to enjoy this wonderful city. Getting on the ship was easy and fast. The food and service in Luminare was great. We ate there everyday and enjoyed it. The ports were beautiful with lots of offerings. We took some tours through the ship and some independent. Most ...

Disappointing for Celebrity!

We have been sailing with Celebrity for a number of years, and was pretty disappointed in this cruise! I know the ship was in dry dock this past Spring for upgrades, but the ship certainly did not reflect any! We were Aqua Class, however, it certainly was not worth the added cost! We (3 couples) found Blu to be quite disappointing this time around! Some evenings we went to Blu, but ordered ...

I have cruised on Celebrity four times now and I really enjoy the excellence and good value on this cruise line. The ship was well maintained, and a good size without being too big. Service was always excellent and attentive everywhere was often busy and difficult to get a drink in some of the bar areas. The food was very good both in the main dining and the buffet area. I could always find ...

Ok cruise

An ok cruise definitely not my favourite have sailed with celebrity before and I think they have got very greedy charging extra for everything such as shuttles from ports like Sicily which are a dump so they know everyone will pay to go on trips or to the town. I was upset by a member of the dining staff who on two consecutive mornings said loudly I was eating too much butter I was completely ...

Was Expecting Better

Having just taken a Holland America cruise (which I enjoyed very much), my expectations were high coming into this one. Unfortunately, it fell short in the biggest area for me, the food. First, let me start by saying that I thought the ship was very nice, with a bright, cheery decor. The staff was wonderful, the embarkation/disembarkation very smooth, the special performers memorable, etc. I ...

Had a great time but Celebrity needs to improve on a few things!

This Cruise was booked in September 2016 by my sister while she was on a Celebrity Cruise in the Balkans. The deal we got was tremendous, but we have sailed on Celebrity because we feel they are a step above others and the food has been tremendous. This cruise however left us disappointed in many ways. I will say the itinerary was excellent! The ship is 15 years old and has had some minor ...

Excessive noise in the cabin

Good itinerary, wanted to repeat some of the ports because they were so interesting when we did almost the same cruise in 2012. Had Aqua cabin 9056, never again!! The rolling of the carts and the loud noises, and what I can only describe as the dish machine whirring at 5 am every day made this not an enjoyable experience. We have been on Celebrity many times, have Elite status, and have never ...

Choose this cruise for the itinerary....wanted to spend some days prior to cruise in Venice and we were really looking forward to Dubrovnik and Kotor. Positives first - ship is in good shape considering her age, food in Oceanview and Marco Polo were above average, actually a lot better than the food we had on a previous Celebrity cruise last November through the Panama Canal. Any staff we ...
