embarkation was a chaotic; late sailing need 3 tugs to get out of the port. Needed arms like Popeyes to open cabin and balcony doors. Balcony door has to be shut at all times or alarm sounds. Cruise with the balcony door open is a highlight for us, but not possible on the vista. When next cabin door slams our heads bounce off the beds headboard! Aircon cannot be switch off. Pro's: This itinerary was amazing with 10 ports in the first 12 days. The staff was some of the best I have had in 37 Carnival cruises. The decor is bright and much more appealing them most other ships. The new Lido deck layout with the buffet (easier to get around). SUMMARY:  Overall we really enjoyed this 12-night cruise around the Mediterranean. Given we were most interested in the ports of call we did not really spend all that much time on the ship and did not extensively use the entertainment and recreation offered on-board.
