My wife and I went on 7 night/ 8 day Greek Island cruise with friends in September 2015.
For months we were looking forward to a trip of a life time, sharing websites links of Harmony V with friends and family. After a month long European holiday we could not wait to board our " luxury cruising yacht." What a let down. Harmony V was nothing like the photos on the website. It is extremely tired ...
This was our first cruise and after reading some negative comments prior to us boarding, I was a little concerned. However, after spending 8 wonderful days, sailing around the Mediterranean, stopping off at beautiful Greek Islands, eating the most fabulous food, being waited upon like we were Kings and Queens, I decided that the people that had written the negative comments must have been on the ...
This was our first cruise and it was excellent from service to the comfort of the room. The wait staff were thorough and made sure we were looked after at all times. The room was services twice daily and turned down at night with surprises on the pillows. The spa treatments on board with the massages were fantastic felt totally relaxed. The food was delectable with a great choice and fresh ...
Days before I left for Greece I read some very negative reviews about this trip. Naturally I was a little nervous. Now that I am home again I can truthfully say there was nothing to worry about.
We had a truly wonderful time and visited several amazing islands without dealing with the large ship crowds. We met so many friendly and warm international travelers. This made the cruise all the ...
Hi everyone.
I was just on the Variety Cruise through the Greek Isles on the Harmony V. It was awesome. We went to some islands most of the big cruise ships can't go to. So, you get a feel for a more local experience, and our guide Joeseph was fantastic.
We skipped much of the tours, opting to relax at a couple of beach clubs instead.
The itinerary is packed full of adventures, so if ...
45 minutes out of Athens the steering broke...we waited 4 hours to be repaired.
The trip did not follow our written itinerary. The linens are very old and mismatched. The towels, especially face cloths were stained. The carpeting throughout the boat is dirty. (This was mentioned to the person in charge).
The toilet backed up first day, our friends needed a complete new commode ...
My Husband and I, with another couple with whom we travel often, took the Odyssey Classic Greek Isle tour; our first tour with Odyssey, The four nights in Athens in the Electra Palace Hotel was top notch....no complaints.
The Harmony V was another story. This was billed as a luxury mega yacht, which paints a picture of a really nice boat. The Harmony V, in our opinion needs a ...
If it wasn't for the fantastic people we met and the crews professionalism this cruise would of totally destroyed the Greek Islands for me.
The people we met are the only reason I didn't disembark this cruise within the first two days.
The only mega thing about the boat is that it's in need of mega maintenance. Toilets that block , brown water from showers. Uncomfortable beds, white towels ...
My wife and I booked this cruise as we had always talked about visiting the Greek Islands and thought a Small Ship would be the ideal way to do it.
The ship is really comfortable with a fantastic crew and excellent service. The meals on board were delicious and the service was always top notch. Special mention to Armand the bartender who kept us well supplied with drinks and great ...
Recently returned from a 7 day cruise on the Harmony V .....excellent experience. The staff was very helpful, professional and attentive. Our Bar keeper, Armand, has been in the cruise industry for many years and was personal, attentive and a wonderful addition to the cruise. Joseph, our director, was excellent; he was intelligent, knowledgeable of all aspects of Greece, humorous and extremely ...
