We chose this cruise for the ports. Everything about our experience was negative. Princess cancelled our first sailing, which cost us $1200 in travel insurance and resulting expired flight credits. they wouldn't speak to us-actually told use to go through our travel agent-then wouldn't return his calls or emails. when we rebooked they gave us $50 on board credit. we couldn't board for 2 hours ...
We were looking forward to Pacific coast stops but Princess revised the itinerary by four days to allow for additional time in dry dock. Vancouver embarkation was smooth as silk and the three day cruise to Los Angles was uneventful with two ok production shows and many onboard activities. Dined at Curtis Stone "Share" restaurant which was absolutely superb. Also dined at Steamers which was not ...
Overall, we recommend both the Emerald Princess and also this itinerary. We had a fabulous time and really enjoyed the trip! The Panama Canal is a "must see" for any traveler and Princess does it right! We had Traditional early dining at 5:15 in the Botticelli - it was great - very attentive staff. We also ate at SHARE (excellent) and Planks (Good). Pools were good but crowded, Movies under the ...
Entertainment and food was good and plentiful. Lots of choices on the Horizon buffet for all meals if that was your choice of dining. The dining room menu was varied and the staff were excellent..... knowledgeable and entertaining. I didn’t have room for dessert most nights and one evening I said “Nothing for me thank you” so after serving everyone else at the table he brought me a plate with ...
We choose this cruise as it was a short quick getaway with some nice stops along the way. Would of loved to have stayed longer in some of the cities, but I guess it would of added a couple more days on, which we wouldn't of minded. It was a smaller ship, which we like. The state rooms are cramped and washrooms need to be made bigger. The crew were friendly enough. I don't like the fact you have to ...
We chose this cruise because of the Itinerary. The cabin we had was close to the Buffet and Theatre. Not so direct to the dining room though, as we had to take 2 different elevators to ket to it. The Dining Room Beef options were very poor, fatty, dry, and tough. The Beef Tenderloin was tough and fatty, the prime Rib was just plain fatty and tough. Very disappointed in our dining experience. ...
First time on this ship and in a mini-suite. Expectations were exceeded on both counts. Staff were very eager to please, ship was clean and it was evident that chairs and carpets in public areas had been replaced recently. Our mini suite C229 was spacious, bedding was crisp and white, carpet and ceiling looked new, balcony railings were freshly varnished, big screen televisions were new, no ...
I chose Princess lines because i have sailed with them before amazing service and cruise to Alaska in 2001 .This time i felt i did not get my moneys worth . I wish i could be compensated for a portion of my trip because there were so many issues ,example the drink packages are a total ripoff particularly with the exchange being CND to US and what types of alcohol is included in the Premiere ...
We chose this cruise because we were on the West Coast and preferred to book a transit of the Panama Canal versus flying. We were just on the reverse itinerary on the Island Princess in May 2017 and expected a similarly pleasant experience. It didn't happen!
The embarkation was terrible. It was one long series of lines. There was no accommodation for our cabin level (Premium Suite) or our ...
This was a Pacific coastal cruise--somewhere I wanted to see. It was vintage Princess, but the Coral Princess is very nice no matter what you may read in these reviews on Cruise Critic. Yes, there are a couple of chips, etc here and there, but it's very nice, very clean. The size is good. I hardly every had to wait in line for elevators or food at the buffet.
My husband's leg started giving ...
