Great except for the rude guest service employee who ruined my day.

This was my husband's and I first cruise celebrating an anniversary. We live in LA and flew to Vancouver to take the cruise from there. We arrived to Vancouver two days before the cruise and had a great time exploring the city, we also had a trip to "Squamish" which I highly recommend. Day of the cruise we arrived at the port around 12:00pm, checking in was easy and smooth, we found out that ...

Nice coastal cruise

This was a pretty unremarkable cruise. The ship was full to capacity and you could feel it. Too many people for the public areas to handle, it felt crowded most of the time. The ship is pleasantly decorated and clean. The dining room was very busy and the food was average, bordering on disappointing. The buffet was also very busy with not enough tables to handle the number of guests. The ...

This was our first Princess cruise. We have cruised quite a bit on Carnival (when we had young children) Royal Caribbean & Norwegian. Alaska was beautiful and very accommodating. The staff on Princess were probably the best staff we have ever encountered. With that said, that was all the positive I can say. The ship is very difficult to navigate and became frustrating many times. The MDR ...

This was our 25th wedding anniversary & my husband "Bucket-list'. we have sailed on Princess before. I remembered the last time we cruised with Princess I had alot of issues. But for some reason I was thinking that this one will be different.(because of my review I have done before) I choose the Emerald because mainly cause of the price and the time of year we could go. We always go for ...

We did the Alaska cruise. The scenery was amazing having a balcony was a must. Our Cabin steward Ronaldo was amazing, great service. In general the dining staff and staff in the shops seemed disinterested and over it. Loved the Walker & Black Duo in the Wheelhouse Bar. But the evening shows in the Princess Theatre were in general disappointing compared to previous cruise ...

This was a repositioning cruise ending the Alaska route. We went from Vancouver BC to LA. So the value was very good, we paid for an obstructed window but there were no obstructions had great view. I really liked our cabin, princess cabin layout is awesome. We took the "Bolt" bus from our home in Portland to Vancouver great ride with wifi onboard on was about 35$ a head. We took a taxi to our ...

Overall Princess standards although still high have fallen. This was a relocatoipn criuise so that maybe the reason. We found that most staff seem to go through the motions,so except for your cabin steward don't expect them to go mout of their way for anyhing that is non-routine. The food was average. Unfortunately this cruise was 2/3rd Platinium or Elite, so those privileges enjoyed were ...

Embarkation in Vancouver was a gong show. It took almost 3 1/2 hours to get on the ship due to the border security being overwhelmed by the number of ships in port. Ship did not sail until after 7 PM (originally scheduled for 4:30 departure). The food in the Crown Grill and the Salty Dog (specialty restaurants) was very good and the staff in both were wonderful. A must try is the short ...
