We had FCC to use so picked a fun and relaxing cruise and we were pleasantly surprised by the gorgeous weather and fabulous crew.. Vancouver and Victoria were so beautiful, and had great time in San Francisco. The crew was amazing. Everyone was so friendly and caring and it showed. Really made you feel appreciated and special. I think everyone was just so happy to be back to more regular cruising ...

We needed a quick getaway as our September cruise on HAL had been cancelled & as soon as we saw this was a go we booked it. So glad - beautiful & immaculate ship outstanding crew. Entertainment tried but not great, movies not very good but setting by the pool beautiful. main dining room very good, felt sad for the waitstaff -young and inexperienced but happily they got it together by the end of ...

I chose the 27 day cruise to burn off vacation time and explore places I’ve never been. I don’t regret it at all. I travelled solo! Ship was clean and employees were organized. My cabin was immaculate and room stewards were attentive and pleasant. Dining room was awesome And organized from the matre’d to the waiter, busboy & supervisors. Staff were attentive and friendly. Food well displayed. ...

Lovely Ship, Educational Experience

Review for a Panama Canal & Central America Cruise on Nieuw Amsterdam

Embarkation in Vancouver was fast and smooth. I was told it might be different the next day when four ships would be in port, rather than just this one. The vaguely Art Deco décor of the ship's public areas was lovely, and everything was always clean and fresh. The stair landings and corridors displayed beautiful art and sculptures, and there were many historic pictures and maps associated ...

Modified California coast & Panama Canal

Review for a Panama Canal & Central America Cruise on Emerald Princess

We were looking forward to Pacific coast stops but Princess revised the itinerary by four days to allow for additional time in dry dock. Vancouver embarkation was smooth as silk and the three day cruise to Los Angles was uneventful with two ok production shows and many onboard activities. Dined at Curtis Stone "Share" restaurant which was absolutely superb. Also dined at Steamers which was not ...

Entertainment and food was good and plentiful. Lots of choices on the Horizon buffet for all meals if that was your choice of dining. The dining room menu was varied and the staff were excellent..... knowledgeable and entertaining. I didn’t have room for dessert most nights and one evening I said “Nothing for me thank you” so after serving everyone else at the table he brought me a plate with ...

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Seven Seas Mariner

I'm relatively new to cruise travel -- prior to this one, I'd completed two cruises, both on another cruise line. I booked this primarily due to the itinerary -- it included both Alaska and the Panama Canal -- and the cost. The cruise was actually two separate cruise: a 10-day Alaska trip from Vancouver to San Francisco; and an 18-day cruise from San Franciso to Miami via the Panama Canal. As ...

Artful Travelers changed this cruise from good to Great!

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Seven Seas Mariner

We chose this cruise because it meant a short flight to Vancouver and a limo home from San Francisco. Flying has become our least favorite part of traveling. Mariner is a beautiful ship even if she needs a facelift. We started cruising on her twelve years ago when she was a Radisson ship before becoming Regent, and later joining NCL. We enjoyed her in 2005 and still enjoy her now. We are ...

Cool Cruise! Thanks NCL for the GREAT weather on the whole 12 day re-positioning cruise! Our 13th cruise and we're Platinum Club Members now. We received lots of goodies in our cabin almost every night. Noel, our Cabin Steward, was probably the best we ever had...Johnny-On-The-Spot with any request. Our Wine Steward, Juvy, became good friends with us , since this is the 3rd cruise we've been on ...
