Absolutely Amazing Voyage of the Glaciers with Glacier Bay (Northbound)

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Island Princess

Alaska is a beautiful place and our cruise on the Island Princess was great! Cruising Glacier Bay and was the highlight--be sure to spend time with the park rangers. The park rangers give a presentation and were also on the upper deck for many hours with the passengers. We saw both Margerie and Lamplugh Glaciers. The staff in the MDR and our cabin steward were awesome. My only complaint ...

I picked this cruise because of the scenic cruising of Glacier Bay and Prince William Sound. Glacier Bay and College Fjord were fantastic. Great views from Aloha 727 suite with wrap around balcony. Cabin is spacious, wonderful bath. Bed was very comfortable. Pillows were too soft. We didn't explore departure city of Vancouver since we just arrived the evening before. Might have been nice to arrive ...

Island Princess in Alaska

We chose to sail on Princess because they are one of only a few cruise lines allowed to go up into Glacier Bay. My sister and I took an 11-day "cruisetour" which was a 7 night northbound cruise from Vancouver and 4 nights on land - 2 at Denali, 1 at McKinley and 1 night in Anchorage. It also included the train from Whittier to Denali on Princess's own glass-domed railcar and all the subsequent ...

Choose this due to low price. Had problems with a flight booked through princess cancelling and not being rebooked. This resulted in us having to pay a second time for air fare to and from ship with absolutely ZERO help from princess. I'm sure we can kiss that money good bye. Cabin was a nice size. Good sized shower and a good view. Our cabin steward was great. Very helpful. We lived Funch. ...

Timing as we needed to get away for a short break without flying anywhere. Have travelled with Princess a number of times before but not recently. Found the overall experience better than expected. Space in cabin very good. Food and beverages very good as was service in most ket areas. Production numbers in theatre outstanding as good as Broadway/ London productions. On a negative point had my ...

Small ship made for short or no lines, three or fewer in the hot tubs, plenty of prime seating for sightseeing and a very relaxed atmosphere. Check in was a breeze and room was ready when we boarded. Staff in buffet was fabulous at being there with what ever you needed and to get drinks etc. Buffet was very clean, wide selection of foods and had plenty of fruit and a sugar-free dessert nightly. ...

Girlfriends cruise, not cheap, booked a long time ago and greatly anticipated...for the most part we had a wonderful time. Entertainment on board was awesome. Food average, but great desserts! Service in specialty restaurants was terrible, VERY slow. Sleeping room accommodations less than great as we did not have the bed arrangements promised on our booking. Food and beverage servers very ...

Really enjoyable

Review for a Panama Canal & Central America Cruise on Island Princess

Entertainment and food was good and plentiful. Lots of choices on the Horizon buffet for all meals if that was your choice of dining. The dining room menu was varied and the staff were excellent..... knowledgeable and entertaining. I didn’t have room for dessert most nights and one evening I said “Nothing for me thank you” so after serving everyone else at the table he brought me a plate with ...

We choose this cruise as it was a short quick getaway with some nice stops along the way. Would of loved to have stayed longer in some of the cities, but I guess it would of added a couple more days on, which we wouldn't of minded. It was a smaller ship, which we like. The state rooms are cramped and washrooms need to be made bigger. The crew were friendly enough. I don't like the fact you have to ...
