We chose the 20 day repositioning cruise from Vancouver to Ft Lauderdale mainly for an opportunity to relax and be pampered..not as much for the ports of call en route. My husband has mobility issues and we didn’t expect to do many excursions ( I did 3 and he, 2). We welcomed days at sea.

I choose this cruise because it was easy access for my sister and myself as we live in Vancouver.
I have cruised a lot but only once before with Princess to Alaska. I normally use Celebrity.
First of all the good. I cant say enough about the friendliness of the ship crew and staff. 5 stars I would give 6 if I could.

Wanted to see Hawaii. Twice we requested wake up calls and did not receive.Holland web site advertises Dutch Cafe 16 Dutch and Belgium beers with 4 on tap. DID NOT HAVE. Met with beverage manager his answer was they were ordered but not sent. Hard to believe a company as big as CARNIVAL{who owns holland} can't get what they order covid is over.

We have travelled with Celebrity several times and always found it to outstanding.
Unfortunately we did a back to back sailing from Vancouver to Alaska and then back to Vancouver.
The second leg of our trip was most disappointing. There were changes of crew in Alaska, who weren't as polite or friendly as those on the northbound trip.

We got quite a bumpy start,,, our first stop in Alaska before heading to Japan was cancelled. I was really looking foward to see the inside passage and Ketchikan. This ship needs an overhaul. Inconsistent service, poor maintenance. Zero health protocols. Other than the Rolling Stone Lounge, entertainment was very poor.
