We chose this cruise because we were on the West Coast and preferred to book a transit of the Panama Canal versus flying. We were just on the reverse itinerary on the Island Princess in May 2017 and expected a similarly pleasant experience. It didn't happen!
The embarkation was terrible. It was one long series of lines. There was no accommodation for our cabin level (Premium Suite) or our ...
We chose this cruise for the itinerary. It was 21 days of just mediocre food and service. Ports and tours were good but the entire cruise was affected by terrible service and institutional type meals.
Embarkation was very well organized. Vancouver was an excellent port and everything went well. Disembarkation was another excellent experience. We were off the ship and on our way to the ...
This was a Pacific coastal cruise--somewhere I wanted to see. It was vintage Princess, but the Coral Princess is very nice no matter what you may read in these reviews on Cruise Critic. Yes, there are a couple of chips, etc here and there, but it's very nice, very clean. The size is good. I hardly every had to wait in line for elevators or food at the buffet.
My husband's leg started giving ...
My wife and I are a couple in our early 50s. We have cruised many times before. We consider ourselves as moderate people with realistic expectations when we cruise.
Princess has always been a favorite of ours in its class.
This cruise was a 22 days cruise from Vancouver to FLL on the Coral Princess.
Embarkation and Disembarkation went smoothly. 5/5
Ship : The Coral princess is a ...
Stayed the night in Pan Pacific Vancouver & they took care of our luggage the morning of embarkation, so bypassed the luggage cue. No need to pass through U.S.A immigration check until we arrived in Seattle which was another unexpected bonus & were onboard Coral princess by 12.15pm.Prior to leaving New Zealand we pre-purchased shore excursions, unlimited soda & more package & pre-paid gratuities to ...
This is a long review. Please forgive me for my wordiness but I'm a nooby cruiser who enjoyed reading all the details in the reviews I saw before we went on this cruise and I figure there are others out there who are like me. I created subtitles so if you wish, you can skip to the areas that are most of interest to you.
Now I have to admit that because I follow a gluten free diet, I was a bit ...
This was our second cruise with Princess Cruises and following a city break in Vancouver we set sail from Canada Place and in the early evening set ail for Los Angeles passing Stanley Park on our port side and then under the Lions Gate Bridge. The start of a very enjoyable 18 days of cruising. We were in cabin A528 on the Aloha Deck having decided prior to the cruises that the port side would be ...
This was our first cruise. We decided to do a back to back cruise that was a repositioning cruise from Vancouver to Fort Lauderdale. The ship took 3 days to sail to LA and then 14 days to go the rest of the way.
Embarcation in Vancouver was beautiful. We booked a princess hotel package and stayed in the Pan Pacific Hotel. The hotel overlooks the cruise ship pier and was perfect. The weather in ...
This cruise was selected in order to witness the construction being undertaken for the new canal locks and channels. We booked the cruise in two segments, a two day cruise from Vancouver to San Fransisco in an inside cabin, B727, then the 15 day segment onward to Fort Lauderdale in cabin B735 a balcony cabin across the corridor. Our logic was that we expected cool temperatures out of Vancouver ...
Embarkation: For us, embarkation was a breeze. Our limo arrived at our house promptly at 11am. We loaded up the car with our luggage and headed down to the pier. We must have arrived before the crowds because we were onboard and in our room by noon. Arriving at the pier around 11:30, it only took us 30 minutes to go through security, customs and checkin. All went very smoothly. Once on board, you ...
