Alaskan cruise exceeded our expectations!

My husband and I, along with my father and his wife wanted to do an Alaskan cruise together. We chose this particular one because 1) it traveled north, we wanted to see the landscape change and the days become longer, 2) we wanted to visit Vancouver prior to our trip, 3) we wanted to travel around the particular date we chose, 4) we wanted a smaller ship (not the Royal) and the Coral had good ...

We chose this cruise because of Glacier Bay. And we hadn’t sailed with princes yet. The good. Service staff in the dining room was exceptional. Same with cabin staff. Food was ok in buffet and very good in main dining room. Plenty of room around ship, never felt crowded. The bad. Main dining took forever, every night. I’m talking to hours plus for dinner. Biggest problem ...

My husband and I enjoy cruising and we didn't want to stop after having our beautiful daughter. Alaska was on our short list of cruise destinations and we've heard that Princess is the best cruise line to see Alaska right. We were not disappointed! Vancouver was an easy city to navigate and made for a stress-free embarkation day. The Coral Princess ship felt spacious and gorgeous; it ...

Alaska cruise/land tour

Chose this particular cruise as it had the landtour afterward which had the itinerary we wanted. Ship was 'ok' nothing special or outstanding. In fact we thought it was all looking very old and tired and in desperate need of a major make-over. The cabin mirrored the rest of the ship... tired and dated. The bathroom had a constant musty smell.... i'm guessing from the overflow in the sink ...

Cruise as part of a tour

This cruise was part of a much longer tour- 28 days in all. So, I didn't actually choose this. Now having been on it, I wouldn't do it, or anything like it again. This was my forth cruise, the other three being on much smaller boats with much fewer people which is what I prefer. This trip confirmed it for me. To me the ship looks tired and is in desperate need of a makeover. The main atrium ...

An Alaskan cruise tour has been on our bucket list forever so when we finally decided to do it we did a lot of research and Princess was always one of the lines mentioned on various boards and by people we knew. After looking at the itineraries available they seemed to offer the most options. We selected 12 days (7 night cruise and 5 night land) and added 2 nights in Vancouver pre-cruise and it ...

The itinerary for this cruise aligned with the places we wanted to visit, based upon the research of reviews and opinions. It didn't disappoint; it exceeded our expectations in every way. It didn't matter what side of the boat you were on. When we went to Glacier Bay the Captain turned the boat so both sides of the boat received equal viewing time of the Glacier's calving. The Stateroom was ...

We booked in Club Class, mini suite, so private small area for eating, with decayed staff, very nice. room was located near elevators, helpful. ship is old, 2002. so rust everywhere. food inconsistent. one day tasty, one day, inedible. like last breakfast, pancakes were bricks. eggs great. service perfect and friendly. eating in buffet, horizon, is quick, but food quality sad. good ...

Disappointing and a Hygiene Risk

We were a party of four. For two of us this was our eighth cruise and our first with Princess. Embarkation was great, very quick and efficient and suitcases came to the cabin in quick time. The sail away "party" was a non-event. All previous cruises have had a live band playing and everyone jumping and excited as we sailed out of the harbour. Not so with this one. As we left the beautiful ...
