We booked this cruise because of the itinerary. We are not wine lovers and we didn't see much evidence of wine events. We saw this cruise listed in local newspaper, booked late, but were able to get one of the few balcony cabins left. A group of ten Rotarians signed up for this specialty cruise. We had a good time but spent our "debriefing" meeting talking about all of the things that went wrong. At the suggestion of some friends who cruise three of four months a year, we switched from HAL to Celebrity in 2011 and took a two week cruise on the Century, which was the final Alaskan cruise of the season. We had a wonderful time and based on that experience we booked an eight-day cruise on the Century Millennium. The results were not nearly as good.
