Wonderful re-positioning cruise from Vancouver to San Diego, stopping at San Fran and Catalina Island. First cruise for me, although my traveling companion had made several cruises on HAL with her late mother. Best thing overall was that we were extremely lucky with the weather. Sail out day from Vancouver was glorious, had a bit of rain overnight but the rest of the trip was incredible. Thanks ...

The 5 of us shared 2 cabins. My mother(75), Daughter(17) and Son(19)shared one cabin and my wife and I the other. First I would have to say I am glad they are moving the cruise to Seattle next year. Flights to Vancouver were at least $200 more per person than similar flights to Seattle. Customs was a hassle at the airport and getting on and off the ship. Vancouver was nice, but not worth ...

VERY PLEASED WITH THE SAPPHIRE PRINCESS PACIFIC COASTAL CRUISE OVERVIEW: The Sapphire Princess is a beautiful ship that has one of the best staffs of any cruise we have been on. This was our 15th cruise, the fourth on Princess. We had done this cruise two years earlier on the Sapphire's twin, the Diamond Princess. EMBARKATION: We arrived at the terminal at 11:00 am with gentlemen ...

We are from Victoria so this was a quick get-a-way as our next cruise is not to next year. Caught the 09:00 Ferry arriving at CruisePark about 11:30 Ryndam and Carnival Spirit in dock Canada Place as well. The lines for security were extremely long but because my wife was in a wheelchair we were escorted through a special line and Check in for S Suites we were onboard in 15 minutes from terminal ...

Great First Cruise

My wife and I were looking forward to our first cruise. We got all sorts of advise from all sorts of folks. Of course, everyone had a different opinion. We took the advice of my elderly cousins that said HAL was the best line out there based on their 45 years of cruising. Given they've been all over the world, we felt comfortable giving HAL a shot. We booked via their website. It was about 45 ...

Pearl September 24-28, 2007, Vancouver, BC - Los Angeles Repositioning Cruise This was our third cruise on the Pearl in less than 8 months. We really love this ship, her crew and the upbeat decorations. We originally booked this cruise so our 82-year-old dad could join us on his second cruise. Unfortunately, circumstances didn't allow him to cruise with us. We were in a quandary deciding whether ...

A great time. We flew to Vancouver and due to limited vacation time we flew in on the day of sailing, so we did not have time to do anything in Vancouver. We have been there before so we decided to take a day at the end of the cruise and spend in L.A.. If you have time I would highly recommend going in a day early if you live in the Mid West or Eastern part of the US. We had to fly out in early ...

My boyfriend and I saw an ad in the paper for a repositioning cruise package including stays in San Diego and Las Vegas for a very reasonable $900 CAD tax included!!! I had heard good things about Holland America from coworkers and travel agents. I had previously cruised with Royal Caribbean Radiance of the Seas and was very pleased with them. Embarkation was easy as we live in Vancouver, the ...

Oosterdam - Pacific Northwest Spring Cruise May 4 - May 7, 2005 This was my 16th cruise to date having sailed on Celebrity, Holland America, Norwegian, Princess & Royal Caribbean previously. This was my first short 3 night cruise, others were either 7 day Alaska cruises, or 10 or 11 day Caribbean, Mexican Riviera or Hawaii repositioning cruises. Previous cruising on Holland America Line ...
