This cruise was initially headed to Alaska and Japan (cancelled Russia), however the itinerary changed and we went to Alaska and then to Hawaii. We had 12 days total at sea, and the staff made it fun. Always something to do. Loads of goodies to eat provided by the most top notch staff we've had.

There were two problems with embarkation in Vancouver, B.C.: the helpers didn't know where the luggage was to be dropped and the sign to Customs was not marked at all. Our third cruise on the Volendam during past six years.Chose the transpacific repositioning cruise to visit LA, Hawaii and Pago Pago for the first time.
