Disappointing, after over 350 days of cruising, this is our the first cruise disappointment.

MV KONINGSDAM, Holland America Line, 18 days cruise, Vancouver, BC, return, to Hawaii, voyage K327 Disappointment. To say the least. Unclear policy and unhelpful guests’ services, pre-cruise Chaotic Embarkation Disorganization of the Restaurant Food rationing – unbelievable! Uncompassionate, inflexible management style Inadequate communications, announcement Lack of proper ...

Worst cruise experience--hoping this was a one time thing

Review for a Pacific Coastal Cruise on Crown Princess

This was my 12 cruise on Princess and they have always been great. Some of the problems on this one were outside of Princess' control but there's no excuse for the cabin problems. The first day my cabin was cold but I'm not one to complain about things normally so I just let it go. Changing the temp on the thermostat didn't do anything. The evening of day one my TV went out. I suddenly ...

Bored stiff

Review for a Pacific Coastal Cruise on Crown Princess

I chose this week long cruise to test Princess before taking a longer cruise in the fall. Immediately after the week was over I cancelled the longer trip. My “mini suite” was no larger than a regular balcony suite on Holland America. The water in the bathroom was scalding hot and they did nothing about it. Half of the public areas were so cold you had to wear a jacket or coat and there was ...

Terrible cruise with Spring Breakers and Shame on RCCL for not handling ADA issues well.

Review for a Pacific Coastal Cruise on Radiance of the Seas

I chose this itinerary because I was on a B2B2B. I boarded the Radiance on 9/23 for the 11 night Hawaii and stayed on 10/4 for the 2nd Hawaiian cruise and decided to stay on for this 10/15 Pacific Coast cruise. The first two cruises were unremarkable while this last leg was remarkably bad. It coincided with spring break and there were too many unsupervised, unruly kids. I had remained in ...

Not the Spirit

Review for a Hawaii Cruise on Norwegian Spirit

Took this cruise to enjoy the sights of Alaska and travel to Hawaii, and it started good and rapidly went downhill on the Norwegian Spirit. Ship is old and smaller than others, therefore lacking in good activities and eating establishments. We purchased the Thermal Spa Package only to find, due to the age of the ship, not all of the amenities are present on this ship. Of those available the ...

We tried this cruise to see if we could enjoy the longer length and master the art of sea days. We failed. There were two couples in our 60s. We don't attend the dance parties, but enjoy the theatre productions and trivia sessions. Day One- Embarkation- Vancouver and RCCL handled it brilliantly. We had a rental car and dropped the spouses off early before returning the rental at the airport. It ...

Not up to usual Princess standards

We have cruised with Princess more than 40 times. We chose this particular cruise to get back into sailing after the pandemic b/c it was out of Vancouver, which is relatively close to home, and also b/c it was longer than 7 days. It did not particularly leave me looking forward to my next cruise, although some of it was beyond Princess' control...like getting back to Vancouver 4 hours late and ...

Lots to like ..... but outdated and dreadful food offer

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Seabourn Odyssey

We chose this cruise for the itinerary and also to see whether we enjoyed the Seabourn product and typical clientele vibe enough to book the 2024 world cruise. We were blessed with great weather from start to finish so enjoyed the wonders and majesty of the Alaskan fjords in all their glory. The excursions on this trip were certainly pretty pricey but the wildlife sightings we enjoyed - bears ...

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Viking Orion

This is our 27th cruise, but the first on Viking. We have been on Holland / Celebrity / Princes. Wanted to try Viking Ocean as we see all the over the top elegant commercials. We were very disappointed. As first timers on Viking we realized very fast this appears to be a European model in booking class and dollars spent priority option cruise line. The more you spend and the times you have ...
