Inside Passage/Hubbard Glacier/Anchorage

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Viking Orion

After scheduling Alaskan cruises twice before, only to have them cancelled both times due to COVID travel restrictions, we decided to schedule with Viking. Having taken a wonderful European river cruise experience with Viking several years ago (2014), we decided to go "first class" again on this cruise, with Viking handling all airline and hotel transfers and limiting ourselves to "easy" ...

I am remiss that I have not sailed an Alaskan inside passage cruise before but I will definitely book this cruise again. Loved sailing out of Vancouver. Very easy to navigate in the city and take the water ferry to Granville Market if you can. Such a great place to visit. Boarding the ship was easier than expected. Advice, bring your global entry card and board early to skip the crowd. Got to ...

The facilities were fantastic. My wife, Lisa, and I used everything they offered including the gym, spa, infinity pool, main pool, game deck, planetarium, auditorium, Torshavn club, the two specialty restaurants, and all the other eating places on the ship. The food was fantastic and the location of the bars were very well placed. Service was impeccable. The laundry facilities were very nice. ...

We were a party of four couples. We were pampered our entire trip by the friendly and professional staff aboard the Orion. We enjoyed all of the restaurants and lounges and even had private seating three of the nights - two at Manfredi's and one at the Chef's Table. The food was excellent and the service top notch! Our stateroom was always clean and well stocked! We enjoyed most of the ...

We have always wanted to go to Alaska and wanted a cruise that offered smaller ships and no children. After extensive research, Viking checked all of the boxes for the vacation we wanted. We stopped at many great locations and the on-shore excursions were really top notch. The staff was truly amazing and we were able to get anything we wanted quickly without waiting in lines. The food was great ...

Outstanding Vacation on QE

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Queen Elizabeth

QE was a beautiful ship; we really enjoyed the decor and accessibility of the ship. Although the sailing was booked full, it rarely felt there were too many people (i.e. breakfast in the Lido is a bit crazy). This ship is definitely for mature types since the crowd and actively level is more subdued than other lines. You can't say that about the ballroom! The dance floor was packed, and ...

The flight from Boston booked thru Cunard transfers to Vancouver Hotel Blu were perfect. (Two nights) Cunard then transferred us to the ship terminal and help with luggage. Princess Grill Suite for 10 nights was everything we hoped for. Post trip excursion by Cunard to Vancouver and Grouise Mountain then drop off at airport was ideal. We choose Cunard for the Britishness and we're not ...

Four of us just completed our cruise with Denali and other sites included. The logistics for this company are off the charts. Everything was so easy and the communication was exceptional. This is our 3rd cruise and by far the best. We spent a couple of days in Vancouver before and that was a wonderful city and very much enjoyed. The initial on-boarding was smooth. The departure and the ...

We just got back from our amazing 7 day Northbound Alaskan cruise on the Nieuw Amsterdam. We were very pleased with the cruise. We took our trip with a group of 6. It was my wife and I, my brother and his wife, and my brother-in-law and his daughter. We are all in our 50's except my BIL's daughter. My wife and I stayed in a Verandah on deck 8. This is my wife and I's 5th overall cruise and first ...
