We recently sailed on the 2/4/24-2/15/24 Atlas World Navigator, 11 nt Antarctica expedition crossing the Antarctic Circle. We were in an A1-Horizon Stateroom with the push button drop down upper window. It was perfect for Antarctica since it let you take clear pictures without standing in the cold. The bed was very comfortable and the room was a decent size with a couch and two chairs.
The ...
We took the 9 day cruise trip to Antarctica through world navigator.
Stateroom was nice and new. Food was decent although the portion is small. Entertainment are quite limited but they do have board games and pokers which customers can use. The cruise members are nice. There are also lectures which you can participated a couple of times a day.
But world navigator really disappoints us as we ...
What a truly awesome adventure! I wanted to do a review as I found limited information prior to our cruise. This is quite long.
We arrived in BA two days prior to the cruise so we could see a bit of BA. I won’t go into the details but this is what we did.
Fogon Asado - outstanding experience. A must do if you like food experiences. Tons of food!
Full day tour with Iconic Buenos ...
BE WARNED! - FALSE ADVERTISING, metal shield bolted over supposed “oceanview” window, nightmare manager, bedroom smelled of sewage, damaged property not compensated for, horrendous customer service, inappropriate behaviour from staff members towards female passengers, zero compensation when things go wrong!
Alcatraz prison windows had nothing on this! It is completely bolted down with ...
Atlas frankly mismanaged the offboard experience for a lot of passengers during their first year, but with new leadership in the second year, things have improved. One constant from what I've read is that the onboard product is excellent.
Embarkation - Surprisingly very easy, despite the late boarding time. We checked in at Terminal C at EZE and it was seamless from there to being onboard. ...
I recently traveled to Antarctica on the World Navigator, and in summary it was a spectacular trip, crew and ship. The food on board and the included wine/alcohol was amazing. I was met by crew members greeting me by name as I walked through the ship, such an intimate experience. My room and accommodations were amazing, Joel my butler was always attentive and meeting every request. The whole ...
First just to clarify we were onboard in August 2022.
This is a ship with a big heart; no fancy entertainment or big selection of restaurants, but so much sincerity and kindness. It's as if the most hospitable people imaginable have welcomed you to their world in a personal way and they made us feel comfortable every step of the way. Service was so personal, every staff member doing their best ...
We just finished our Antarctica trip on Atlas World Navigator. Based on my experience I would never go on another Atlas cruise or recommend it to anyone. Here’s why: The ship is beautiful and room attendant and restaurant staff are wonderful but the cruise was run wrong every step of the way: 1) we arrived at Orlando airport on Saturday ( flights booked by Atlas). We were told someone would meet ...
We were looking to do an Antarctic cruise that offered landings onto the Antarctic Peninsula as well as islands along the Peninsula. Had looked at various cruises available when Travelzoo provided information on this new cruise line. Prices were comparable to other ships and the fact that the World Navigator, a brand new ship, could carry at most 198 passengers was very appealing as we wanted to ...
We enjoyed most of our 12 day cruise on World Navigator. While there were some communication issues with Atlas leading up to the cruise, these were swept away when we stepped on board this beautiful ship. It is very new with lots of room to move around. The Porto restaurant provided expansive views of the ocean while we enjoyed meals, the lecture theater is state of the art, and all of the ...
