Hi cmichaelcornely! We are disappointed to hear that you found many parts of the sailing disappointing. We have passed your feedback along to our team....
I chose this cruise because I live in Florida and felt the weather in Maine was the best weather in the US in summer. Also I love lobster and was excited that it was a big part of the cruise. I was in Maine over 40 years ago and loved it. This cruise covered Bar Harbor, my past destination and so much more. I love the intimacy of American CruiseLine. You actually get to make friends. There are no ...
I live in Florida so the opportunity for the perfect summer weather of Maine was a perfect getaway.
Lobster on this trip put the icing on the cake!
We had a terrific time following our way from Bar Harbor's Cadillac Mountain through small towns of Rockland and Camden ending in Portland. The food, and entertainment were wonderful. There was a terrific speaker on board and a resident ...
Just back from a 2 way transatlantic voyage on QM2. We had been upgraded from deck 5 with a sheltered balcony to deck 11 with a full balcony, which was nice, but unfortunately with inclement weather we got little use. The weather on the way to New York was fine but cold and very windy and on the return was stormy for most of the way till our last day sailing.
I enjoyed our cruise, however it ...
I really enjoyed my relaxing cruise on the Mississippi. Staff really catered to all of our needs. Cruise price included excursions in every port. I had the chance to learn many things about the civil war, visit museums, and several beautiful plantations. Tour guides were very entertaining.Back on the ship we had relevant lectures and even had the opportunity to take a fun art class. In the evening ...
Currently sailing on the recently refurbished American West. Saw previous negative reviews and was hesitant, but cruise line said it was being fully refurbished. It is lovely! Definitely has the charm of an old-fashioned paddle wheel boat. Carpets, furnishings, furniture, linens, shower curtain… are all very nice. Exceeded our expectations! All staff members have gone above and beyond to meet any ...
Special birthday cruise with Cunard in the middle of May 2022 was the reason for this cruise plus it seemed good value as it was a re positioning journey finally ending in Alaska. We had a good ball cabin kept immaculate by our excellent steward and took dinner at 8.30 (a bit late for us).All meals were excellent as per usual.Vegetables are never cooked enough though making them too inedible for ...
We booked the May 30th Alaska cruise first, then added the May 23rd Coastal afterward. We occupied Caribe 510 for the Alaska leg, then added the forward leg when cabin E632 became available at a favorable price.
Preparation: Six new items had to be addresses by us, having never cruised on a Medallion equip ship. The new software was kludgy with more than a few redo's on our schedule weeks ...
This cruise was booked in 2019 for sailing in 2020, but eventually we did it in April 2022. New Orleans to Memphis.
Check in at the Hilton Riverside the day before, plus Covid test, was straightforward. We did not stay at the Hilton, but on departure day made our way to the Hilton by cab. We had booked the pre-cruise excursion, which was excellent. Amusing and informative guide for a 4 hour ...

Hi AliWood! We appreciate you taking the time to leave us a review. We are disappointed to hear about a lack of communication about The River Grill and bar. We are glad you enjoyed some ports...
I dreaded writing this, but now is not a good time to cruise with Princess.
Staffing is a major challenge.......and it's not that people don't want to work, it's that Princess is keeping it's purse-strings tightly closed. They are clearly shorthanded, and the crew they have are trying their best, but are clearly overworked.
We were told that at times, the galley crew were getting breaks or ...
