Our cruise was great value. The "Marie Antoinette / Louis VI" decor was good fun - lots of mirrors and gold, like Versailles.
Restaurant and meals were excellent, drinks unlimited, service great.

On the plus side: The ship was very clean and well attended. the Ports were as described and the local tour guides were excellent especially in Versailles and Normandy. Food not that great. Too much riding buses to excursions. COVID spread on ship probably due to overcrowding on bus to sites. Crew very nice. I would not recommend this Douro cruise. I gave Riviera Cruises the worst ever food rating, well here’s some good news for them Uniworld wins hands down for the tasteless school dinners they served up.

A beautiful ship with a excellent staff. We were in a suite. Although by necessity small, the room is very well thought out. Large windows make up for the lack of a balcony. You can control just about everything (tv, lights, windows) from your bed. Very comfortable bed. Excellent shower.
