chose this cruise with marella after many years away, cruising with Royal Caribbean, Princess and p&o, as the two cruises ( week each) were going to Central America and Cuba ,
The Good bits : Ship was better than we expected, modern, clean and well looked after, service and food and drinks were fine and entertainment was ok.
Our issue is that we had VERY noisy neighbours who were two ...
My mixed race teenage daughter was racially abused by another passenger on the cruise. We struggled to get any staff to take what had happened seriously and after the first incident we were alert to everything and we witnessed several more incidents of discrimination from both passengers and staff. The staff need more training on equalities and customer service.
We made several complaints on ...
We have previously sailed on Discovery 2 and had a great time so we were really shocked to see how much the standards had dropped.
During our week onboard we never had a hot meal served to us in the 47 restaurant and the only really hot food was at the Snack Shack however when sitting on deck 9 at night there were cockroaches running around most nights
There is no policing of the pools, ...
Chose this cruise for my husbands 50th Birthday specifically for Port Royal and Panama. This was to be our last family holiday (teenage boys also on holiday) and we wanted this to be special.
First issue was encountered on embarkation to ship in Montego bay. Queues over an hour long to get on the ship, very poorly organised and no information given by TUI for any delay reason.
Port Royal - ...
Choose a cruise. To relax and for a luxury couple vacation. I couldn’t have chosen a worse trip with TUI. As for food! Dreadful. A massive punch up on board passengers. Staff that didn’t have a clue. Not all inclusive.
Entertainment was like a bad red coat holiday. Like a booze cruise Absolutely disgusting. And I complained straight away on board and on returning. Just received an email ...
Cruise staff onboard did all they could to please customers. Ship and cabin in need of updating, but fine.
Landed in Montego Bay and eventually arrived with luggage in cabin 4 hours later! We were kept standing in a queue at the airport for an hour waiting for buses to take us to the port. Then another queue at the port terminal for a further 2 hours. Babies were having their nappies changed ...
The first and foremost part is what let’s the whole thing down. We were forced to leave our baggage outside the rooms at 2am the night before leaving . I complained and said I wasn’t comfortable and I was told their was no option.
My case and my wife’s case turned up in the U.K. missing a £3.5k work MacBook Pro , 400 cigarettes and several items of designer clothes. The security seals were ...
For what is suppose to be a newly refurbished cruise ship they sure cut a few corners but the cabins are both comfortable and clean. The housekeeping staff are some of the more pleasant individuals onboard.
All the staff look miserable and overworked. Or it could be the guest who has made them this way.
I have honestly never been on a ship where the F-word was so prominently used. You would ...
We sailed on this ship in May 2017 and had a fantastic holiday.
Flight from Birmingham to Montego Bay was long, transfers to ship were good and timely.
Cabin the smallest I've ever seen. Cabin service was excellent. Attendant even went looking for, and found, our missing luggage.
Poor service at bars and in restaurants. Queues often caused people to get irate.Although some staff , as ...
Flight from Gatwick was 1 hour late leaving, but made up the time. Once in Montego Bay smooth transfer on to coach . Check in at port was in a shed. Credit card/Debit card was £1 per person donation taken without any explanation!
Once on ship, left to your own devices. No-one met or greeted you. Reception will do as little as possible to assist you. Tui Destionation Sercice staff were worse. ...
