The ship was renovated in 2016 and is newer and nicer than some of the other Hurtigruten ships. We sailed from Tromsø to Trondheim in March and the scenery was amazing all the way. In my opinion and based on my cruise experience, you cannot rely on anything Hurtigruten (or its sales associates) tell you. I purchased the "Coffee Deal" when I booked my trip. Absolutely not worth the price. Horrible old ship without any standards and I must say worst ferry experience ever anywhere in the world. One could not imaginate that there still are so back-dated ships. The cabin was under all critism, so scruffy and worn-out without a toilet.
