Give Regal a pass for another Princess ship

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Regal Princess

Least favourite of Princess ships. Food is of poorer quality even though the dinner menu is the same on all Princess ships. ventilation system is extremely poor. Did they forget about COVID on this ship. Had many issues on ship but these were addressed quickly ie. shower didn’t work, food was cold in dining room and dirty balcony with broken glass. I am now officially turned off Princess cruises. ...

Old ship with mold in the cabins

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Enchantment of the Seas

The ship was really old and our inside cabin on deck 3 was full of mold in the bathroom. The interior was from the 80’s and looked really dull. The service was great though and the restaurants was really nice with awesome service from the waiters. The Theater was also ok and provided various of artists, real proffesional ones. The solarium was humid but not that warm at all, which was a ...

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Norwegian Breakaway

We chose this transatlantic cruise because of its port intensive itinerary. The added attraction was that it was scheduled to only have 4 consecutive days at sea. We ended up having 6 days at sea because the ship was unable to dock in Ponta Delgado due to poor weather. Food in all venues was excellent. No complaints there. Ship ran out of tea within the first few days & coffee towards the ...

Contrary to reputation of the food quality

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Celebrity Constellation

User Avatar

The food in the dining room at times was inedible. The chef of 32-years with Celebrity did a presentation of the secrets of pastry making was charismatic but disclosed that he has overseen movement to buy some goods rather than utilize kitchen staff to make common dishes. Unfortunately this decision has destroyed the reputation for the quality of food on the Celebrity Cruise Line which is one of ...

Tired old ship,needs upgrades.

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Celebrity Constellation

This is our 5th T/A crossing and it was one we could without. Some people like this ship but to us it was old and dark, I mean that literally. Half the lights in main dining were out and never came on for the whole cruise. Also if you were seated on the second level your food was cold most of the time. Forget about getting someone to clean the mold in the shower and the cabin attendant forgot to ...

Have a Cpap?, Do Not Cruise with MSC

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on MSC Musica

This was our first trans Atlantic cruise and our longest (30days Greece to Argentina) I have Cpap machine and it requires distilled water. Prior to sailing I requested distilled water but that request was not fulfilled. Once on board, I made another request. The medical staff provide 1 liter of distilled water, which may last 5-7 days Before crossing the Atlantic (6 nights at sea) I ...

NCL Profits on Skipped Ports

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Norwegian Jade

1 -At the pier, we were directed to the wrong line to begin check-in (not a good omen). There were 6 stations, where each NCL person had a paper printout of 2,000 people to flip through to find our names (oh,boy). 2 - Room sounds as if the storm is inside. Steward explained, in a somewhat miffed tone, that we did not push the handle hard enough. DL cannot do this, Ken will need to help. We ...

Beautiful ship but the additional costs are exorbitant and leave a bad taste

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Costa Fascinosa

As a first time cruiser from South Africa, our family did the European cruise which was absolutely amazing from the ports we stopped at and being on the ship as a family. We enjoyed our time together although we were shocked at all the additional service fees charged from mandatory daily service fees (on top of an all inclusive package) as well as purchasing anything onboard e.g. a coke is ...

Just not good enough

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Seven Seas Mariner

We chose this cruise to experience Regent for the first time. We have cruised quite a bit with Royal Caribbean, Celebrity and Crystal (before it failed). We thought we would get excellence and we’re so disappointed about so many things. We love good food but found it hard to get a good meal on this cruise. We were forced to eat earlier than we usually do for dinner to avoid a 30 minute wait for a ...

Not Like My First Princess Cruise

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Regal Princess

User Avatar

I wanted to visit the British Isles and after an exceptional cruies to Alaska, was ready to experience the same here. Unfortunately that was not the case. I was totally disappointed. The ship was in dire need of renovations, my cabin has shredded carpet, poor plumbing, ( bathroom flooded, toilet clogged). I understand maintenance issues happen, but when I have to wait in excess of 2 hours to get ...
