Super ship, great staff, post-Covid food a bit disappointing

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Regal Princess

Overall, we had a fabulous cruise for 16 days from Southampton to Fort Lauderdale with excellent stops in France, Spain and Portugal. As my cabin mate has a cane and is Elite, we were put in a faster queue for boarding, which went extremely well. The Regal Princess is a stunning ship! I especially enjoyed midship on Decks 15 and 16 where you can see the front and rear of the ship from one ...

My husband and i have been cruising for over 30 years and our experience with cunard was the absolute worst. we would never sail with them again nor would we recommend them to anyone. Our issues with the line began well before the cruise departed. their web site is difficult to navigate and provides only the minimal amount of information. our cruise fare included a beverage package and a ...

We LOVED our trip in the Queens Grill arbors the Queen Mary 2. What a magnificent ship. Our penthouse suite was beautifully appointed with every luxury we could want, including a bathtub long enough for my 6’2” frame to stretch out in. Meals were wonderful, especially the Concierge who went out of his way to provide us with special meals and suggestions. Unfortunately all of these good ...

Beautiful ship but the additional costs are exorbitant and leave a bad taste

First Time Cruiser • Age 40s

As a first time cruiser from South Africa, our family did the European cruise which was absolutely amazing from the ports we stopped at and being on the ship as a family. We enjoyed our time together although we were shocked at all the additional service fees charged from mandatory daily service fees (on top of an all inclusive package) as well as purchasing anything onboard e.g. a coke is ...

Below is a brief review of our sailing on Queen Mary 2, September 20-29, 2023, 9 nights, from Hamburg to Southampton and on to New York. This was part of a 5 week trip that began in Milan, Italy at the end of August, and included a 7 night sailing on the Azamara Onward from Rome to Venice. We were in an Interior cabin with a window overlooking the multi-story lobby. We had noticed these ...

Loved the ship – just less than the Magic

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Disney Dream

First of all, I'll admit that my review will be a bit incomplete as my wife and I got covid on the ship and had to get isolated for half of the cruise. With that said, I think five nights is plenty enough time to judge the ship. I've been on the Magic for four cruises, and it's been a bit of my "home ship", in a way, so I was eager to see what the Dream had to offer. Unfortunately, I think ...

Having recently completed a seven-day transatlantic voyage aboard the Queen Mary 2, our first Cunard experience post-pandemic pause and just after a couple of recent cruises on Holland America Line and Celebrity X, and we felt it useful to share a quick review. Our oceanic résumé is not devoid of experience with Cunard; we first sailed on the QE2 back in the early 1970s in tourist class and have ...

SO LITTLE TIME

We boarded in Barcelona for a Transatlantic cruise to New York before continuing to Montreal. Although comfortable the ship is looking its age with a surprising amount of silicone apparent in the cabin, and once you see that your eye is of course drawn to other deficiencies, of which there are many. To summarise: The good: All the staff were happy, courteous and obliging. To name a few, our ...

We chose this cruise to experience Regent for the first time. We have cruised quite a bit with Royal Caribbean, Celebrity and Crystal (before it failed). We thought we would get excellence and we’re so disappointed about so many things. We love good food but found it hard to get a good meal on this cruise. We were forced to eat earlier than we usually do for dinner to avoid a 30 minute wait for a ...

Not Like My First Princess Cruise

I wanted to visit the British Isles and after an exceptional cruies to Alaska, was ready to experience the same here. Unfortunately that was not the case. I was totally disappointed. The ship was in dire need of renovations, my cabin has shredded carpet, poor plumbing, ( bathroom flooded, toilet clogged). I understand maintenance issues happen, but when I have to wait in excess of 2 hours to get ...
