We loved the Viking River Cruises so wanted to try the ocean cruise and also wanted to see China. For the most part we were very pleased. The cabin and service were excellent. The food was good but not excellent. Their waffles were inedible. We tried the chef's table two times - both times the food was too spicy. The excursions were satisfactory, but they were very crowded with 30 plus people on the bus and some of the guides were difficult to understand. We had one of the best cabin attendants ever on Viking cruises. Lectures were not as good as previous cruises. Limited activities during sea days.
