Worst cruise ever

This was our 11th cruise and 2nd princess (1st experience was Emerald Princess in September 2022 and was excellent) but was the worst ever. 1. Waiting for 2 hour at Yokohama even everything done online but to pick up the medallion. Suggest to narrow the check in window to minimize overcrowding passenger during peak hours. 2. Water shuttle horrible. Some disrespectful passengers picked up ...

This was our fourth cruise with Princess, and the most disappointing one. In general, the whole cruise was mediocre. Check in took about 40 minutes and we were not in the peak period. Room was reasonably clean but some furniture are showing wear and really tired. There was a cold ' Hello ' with the steward, but after I gave a 50 dollars tip the next day, I get some smile. Activities and ...

We chose this cruise as it was perfect timing for our holiday in Japan. Our second princess cruise and we were excited for the adventure. From embarkation to the awful dining experiences our excitement soon evaporated. Arriving at Yokohama ($170 taxi ride from Tokyo ) our bags were swiftly taken out of sight, our passports shown and our vaccination verification and we were rushed to a waiting ...

Ship was dated, service was very poor, dining was average, take a large bank account with you because they will charge you like a wounded bull!! Don't trust what they tell you as we were told that to certain destinations by foot was not possible but it was, again another ploy to sell you their excursions which are grossly overpriced as are their drinks, note you will be paying a daily gratuity ...

Worst Cruise I have ever been on

1. The day before the cruise a Typhoon hit Tokyo. We understand that you cannot do anything when mother nature hits but there was no communication, no notifications or emails from Princess explaining that there is a delay in the cruise ship coming back into port due to the Typhoon and that there was any delay in embarkation. There should have been an initial email warning of the approaching ...

NOT A NORMAL PRINCESS CRUISE

Wanted to see Japan and the festivals. However the tours were not up to standards. The food was below normal. The service was way below normal. There were no lectures. The International Cafe was missing. Maybe if we went when the weather was not so hot the tours would have been better. I think that Carnival ran this cruise with Princess because we saw lots of carnival-Princess signs. At dinner ...

We just got back from a 9 day cruise around Japan on the Diamond Princess. We booked the cruise because of the itinerary. We had been to Japan several times but had not gone up to the north. This was a great chance to see an area we had never been to. The Pluses - The itinerary..some great countryside places, gorgeous cherry blossoms, interesting historical sites - The room. We had the ...

Comeback not so new!

The ship and the senior crew are an absolute disaster. - Many plumbing leaks across the ship: in the cabin hallways, toilet overflows into main walkways, buckets in shops to catch the drips from the ceiling. Crew admit the boat is getting old and needs lots of maintenance. Always heater fans working to dry out wet carpet, fans and cables created additional trip hazards. - 2 hour line up for ...

We chose this cruise to see Japan. The port of embarkation does not even exist on the port of embakation listing, its "home" port is Yokohama in Japan. This shows what a company this is.I would not recommend an American owned cruise company to my worst enemy as they are the masters of spoiling a cruise with their on-board pricing policy. How to give up a drink for 2 weeks unless you have very deep ...
