Not as good as we expected

Much of whatI had was cold
Falafel that wasn't, and I don't know what it was
Minestrone made with vegetable bouillon and but for a few vegetables that was it
I tried to like it I really did but it was just not good enough
On the other hand service was excellent .Especially in the speciality restaurants where I was served a stone cold steak and tepid french fries
The ship was spotless and it was a real pleasure to be there, except at meal times ...."Read More

great itinerary, great staff, very clean. Canyon ranch spa food was a joke. No yoga equipment as was promised by cruiseline staff. We would go again and know better waht to expect, especially with the food; not a lot of healthy options. This was our 5th cruise with Oceania. We chose this particular one for its itinerary, starting in Tokyo and ending in Bangkok. It was the only one we found on an upscale cruise line that covered so much of the coast of Asia in less than 3 weeks. Chose this cruise because of the inclusive itinerary which included Vietnam where I served during the War in 1967 - 1968. Also, past experiences on Oceania have been excellent!
Ship provided tours were good but not exceptional!
Service everywhere aboard the ship was beyond excellent!
Food assistance always available in the terrace for those needed help carrying their plates.

Excellent menu and presentation, 5-star service throughout the ship. Fabulous ports of call with very diversified tours. People where all well traveled and open to conversations and friendly. Oceania is an above average, luxury cruise line attracting well traveled, higher educated people all interested in the itinerary and gourmet food services at a high standard.
